3 Months ago my homeloan was activated. Without my consent Standard Bank added insurance to my loan. No documentation, no indication of what type of insurance, just insurance and a premium for the last 3 months. Contacting them just gets you the run around, and people blaming other people. At no point did i agree to it and at every stage i indicated i have my own insurance. This goes against the FIAS act and i will surely report this to the Ombudsman. No i have to jump through hoops to cancel and get a refund of something i never consented to. How do you do business?

For two weeks now i was trying to use official channels to get in contact with you, but it seems like Standard Bank likes it when customers complain. I just want to cancel my life insurance with you.
I am still waiting to be contacted. I just want to cancel my policy, why is this so hard to do. I have been strugling since 3 Jun to get hold of anybody at standard bank. Alway high call volumes, 20 min listing to music. Quick to sell very slow to service you customers.
Most horrible company to use for delivery. It takes 10 days for the 3 day package. The is blame shifting between branches, depots and drivers. Your fragile package looks like it fell of the back of a truck. Pathetic service and absolutely no pride in their work. SECUNDA AND GEORGE, never ever will i use your company or recommend it to anyone. Rather use the post office, you know what you get there.
Dear Standard bank, i find it very sad, that for your customers to get in contact with you, they need to resort to complaining. None of your contact us options work or you are not bothered with contacting clients. When a client does phone, HiGH call volumes is always the excuse. Stop hiding behind Covid and employ more call center staff, or at least get your online systems to work better. I want my vehicle registration papers please.
I would like to compliment Laurette ****samy for the great service i received from her. I asked for a call back to change an address, with in minutes i was phoned back by her in a very friendly and upbeat voice. Changes was made quickly and correctly, plus the bonus was a better premium and excess. Good job King Price for employing this competent staff member. Regards JP Du Preez

<p>Standard bank does not order cards when you ask them to, or more so, when they ask you if they can order it. 23 Nov 2016 they asked me if they can order my card, 5 Dec 2016 i said yes. 10 Feb 2017 i phoned them to find out where the card is. Turns out the forgot to do their job and i had to order it again, 18 day before it expires.</p> <p> </p> <p>Greate JOB Standard Bank, you never fail your customers.</p>
