This university is hell and the vice chancellor is lucifer leading maladministration at the institution.
A university that threatens students with high court interdicts when they report ******. Filthy. Never removed the statements I made regarding NMU online yet they never went to court. What are you afraid of and hiding?

Keep in mind this university went from denying, to distancing to eventually keeping quiet once Universities South Africa began the probe. Internally at NMU, everything bad is covered up.

Universities South Africa (USAf) is now investigating this institution as the channels within it don't address the racism, corruption and gangsters that conduct thier illegal operations on campus.
"Nelson Mandela University acknowledges this review. However, the University denies any allegations related to unlawful or illegal operations." From calling me crazy, to saying my complaints are illegitimate and now the Nelson Mandela University is distancing itself. Is the university distancing itself from illegitimate complaints as it can't be both? Thank God this university is now under investigation by an external party as the Vice Chancellor Sibongile Muthwa reinforces the corruption and gangsterism while at the same time protecting racist staff members.. Gangsterism and education can't operate at this university at the same time while the likes of the Vice Chancellor are aware and opt to suspend students to cover the heap of a mess within this university covered up.

A university in bed with the notorious numbers gang, racists within and around the university and corruption thrives as protocol is bypassed even by the Vice Chancellor Sibongile Muthwa herself.
How dare this university brushes off the fact that it(NMU), SAPS, members of the SRC at the time as well as residents of Summerstrand kidnapped, tortured and coerced me while keeping me against my will for up to 4 weeks as an illegitimate complaint. On the 21st of August 2020 after having spent the night of Thursday the 20th at the university's residence, I had to escape via University Way street which leads into and out of the campus. I was dragged on the tar road on my back in an attempt to grab me and pull me into a vehicle by thugs affiliated to the Nelson Mandela University and it's affiliates all in order to keep the ill-doings in the institution secret. I was eventually taken and intimidated as I was held for up to a month as the coercion was still taking place. All while they lied to my parents about my whereabouts while knowing very well where I was. The university now coming here on Hellopeter and falsely claiming these complaints are illegitimate while the incident was witnessed from University Way is the reason the institution is in such poor standing and continues to decline. The truth is twisted internally in this institution and when it can't be twisted externally on platforms such as Hellopeter, the university claims it is an illegitimate complaint. The fact of the matter and why I put this on this public platform is so that the public knows what they are applying for when they go to this institution. They stand a chance of being ****d, kidnapped, having their belongings stolen or outright being killed and the university could potentially play a hand in the death of a student and try by all means to cover it up or dismiss it.

The Nelson Mandela University is a drug, racism and corruption infested institution.
This institution is unfortunately one of the places in South Africa where racism is rampant, but covered up by the higher up stakeholders to keep the name "clean". From the staff members, the Vice Chancellor and the stakeholders who provide accommodation to the students - there are incidents of racism, corruption, drug smuggling into the campus, kidnapping of students etc. As a student there, I raised these concerns and I was suspended without a disciplinary hearing by the powers that be in order to protect the university's reputation.

The Nelson mandela University is a corrupt, racism and criminally entrenched institution where cover ups are a daily occurance.

Home-Connect is terrible at giving the service you pay for and has terrible communication with customers.
Home-Connect can be extremely poor at not only communicating with customers of theirs, but also be very bad at delivering the service you pay for. I paid my bill yesterday, sent proof of payment, yet my internet is still not enabled. I sent emails, called the entire day since morning, no response, not even a ticket received notification from them. If you want to use Home-Connect, just know that they will pester you about payments, add fines that do not make any sense, but when you settle your bill together with the fines imposed on you, they will not even answer your calls or emails. Very poor Home-Connect.

Taxify/Bolt is terrible, not safe and thier drivers are sick criminals.
Taxify/Bolt is absolutely terrible. I just began using it recently and already one of their drivers snatched my phone and sped off. I tried getting in touch with Taxify/Bolt to no avail. If their drivers aren't stealing from riders, they are raping women. Use Taxify/Bolt at your own risk, but just know that it is certainly not safe at all. I am without a phone because of a driver registered under Taxify/Bolt.
