As an ex Elitehost client, I terminated services a few few years ago with them due to a business being closed. Roll forward to this year, a new start and moving away from problematic service providers, I moved a personal hosting account to EliteHost. What a pleasure. No dramas, everything just works. I guess it's "Welcome back home me!" :)
Vox has the most shocking service EVER. Clear and concise instructions are not followed. To whom it may concern: One day when somebody has the inclination to deliver service, reply to emails and a ticket lodged last month, please confirm my latest request for cancellation of porting in ticket VOX20390048 I tried leaving an ISP due to bad service, not to seek out one with shocking service.
Unsolicited and unethical marketing from Discovery Insure. As a Discovery Health client, we had a massive spat about my details continuously being the target for marketing new unrelated products in violation of the CPA where I specifically asked my details NOT be used within the group. When I objected to a call from Insure today, I was told "I'ts okay", I'd be taken off the list (heard it so many times before) but the call was put down when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Need I cancel my Discovery Health to get rid of unwanted marketing?
Phone call from anonymous number. Tells you they are phoning from CPT and you have won a prize from people selected in your area. They have your personal details addressing you by name. Refuse to tell you were they got it, claiming you filled in a survey during the pandemic (hogwash, I hate these things) "else where would they get your details?" Exactly why I wanted to know. When I pushed it, the phone was put down. So much for POPIA protecting criminals, but not your privacy.
Bought a Invens V12 Pro. Phone hangs and needs to be factory reset. Meanwhile the phone has adware/spyware on that automatically re-installs and cannot easily be disabled. Email to the distributor is ignored. Not a product to consider if you value your privacy. Quite frankly: A dangerous phone.
