Today, I discovered that MTN auto-subscribed me to three services without my consent and deducted money from my account. I immediately cancelled all the subscriptions, but I should never have been charged in the first place. This seems to be a recurring issue for many customers, and I would appreciate it if MTN could refund the deducted amount and ensure my number is protected from any future unauthorized subscriptions. I have been an MTN customer for years, but this experience has really damaged my trust in the network. I hope this can be resolved quickly.
I wouldn't recommend signing a contract with them it's not worth the hassle. Don't sign up online. I've been having problems with them since day 1. They over debited me because they messed up my contract and then still debited another month's membership fees after agreeing that I would not have to pay again at the end of last month. They also charged me more than what was advertised online. A company that is so disorganised and doesn't stick to its agreements can't be trusted to take care of your money. Insist on seeing your contract before signing anything.
Not a great start to a 12-month contract with Edge fitness. Can't seem to get any assistance. I noticed that three amounts went off on my account R198,50 for the half-month levies R100 for the card fee and 299 for the membership subscription according to the website. Can you please give me a copy of my contract so I can understand why an Edge staff member asked me pay R309 (Receipt 22667) I recall a Edge staff telling me that the amount for levies was suppose to go off in December. He also told me that I needed to pay for those levies and the gym card at the front desk. I paid a total of R309 when I went to Edge fitness Walmer on Tuesday the 10 May 2022. I now have no idea what I paid R309 for and I’m very concerned about this can you please assist me.
Simply uncapped Wi-Fi slower than my grandma. Video calls are always unstable. There are frequent problems with connectivity. This month alone I've reported problems three times and you can go days without access to the Wi-Fi you pay for. Haven't had Wi-Fi since this morning. This is Simply unacceptable.
MTN charged me out of bundle costs and deducted my airtime without my knowledge or consent. Also, stop asking other MTN customers to send me 'special messages' to my number it is completely annoying. Stop spamming me I'm not interested.
I've been nominated to receive a gift without my permission by a person I don't even know. Platinum life obtained my number without my permission and continue to phone and SMS me even though I don't want them to and don't consent to them harassing me.
