Best service and consultants who are very informative with products offered.
Good morning My name is Boikanyo Motsumi (ID no: 9211025477088 / Contact: 0782955408) and am the owner of a 2018 BMW 320i F30 with the registration number HL78GJGP. Am writing with a concern after I have been made aware that the Catalic Converter on my vehicle had been tempered with. I had an accident on the 29th of September 2021 and Absa Idirect (Insurance at the time - Claim number: 4114044) instructed me to take the car to Zambezi ARC (BMW Branch) for assessment. I personally drove the car there on the 1st October 2021 and the was no problem with the car sound and the car was assessed declared w/off then transported to SMD in Pretoria West on the 13th October 2021. At SMD when I went to check on the car on the 25/10/2021 some parts were removed (Airbag and the left rear mirror on the driver's door) which were later replaced. I fetched the car on the 26/11/2022 to a storage I organized at Pretoria East and drove the car there myself and there was a change in the sound of the car of which I thought is because the car has been stationary for some time at SMD without the engine running but I made sure I periodically go start it while it is kept at the storage in Pretoria East but the sound remained. I went to Pretoria East Storage on the 13/01/2022 for the initial assessment of the car by Keycon Services to get the car fixed and they made me aware that the Catalic Converter and/or Powder Inside Catalic Converter removed hence the change in sound and went back to fetch the car on 20th/01/2022 to their Center where the car was to be fixed on the doors (Panelbeating). The accident did not affect the catalic Converter and worse part even welding is visible. I most believe this was done at Zambezi ARC because as they removed some parts before. A guy by the name Paul de Sousa Goncalves was the one responsible for this and promised telephonically to replace it but now has been relieved of His duties and now am left all alone with this matter to deal with. Am really disappointed in this as it is theft and unprofessionalism of note.
I had an accident on the 29th of September 2021 in Pretoria where my car was written off following a military car crashing into me as the military personnel was driving in a bus lane and did not yield at the red red traffic light on that lane coming at a high speed (Blue lights were off and his sirens also) and the traffic light was open for me to make a turn. Accident reports were done and case number given to me by military police. My car was not insured then as the insurance was to start the following day after the day of the accident but thanks to Absa idirect for helping me with the quotation and assigning someone for the assessment of the car which was later declared w/off. So I made a claim through military insurance and submitted all documents needed (Accident Report, License & ID documents, Letter of Demand, Car quotation, Prove of banking details and documents of the military personal who crashed into me) but till this day I haven't even received any positive progress and claim number with regard to the case. I contacted Clientele as my legal cover on several occasions to see through the case and put pressure on this people to make progress on the case as am suffering in terms of transportation to & from work and also running errands but they not pulling through for me. This is frustrating because am even paying for a car am not using. Now recently they told me they logged in a call for me for the legal advisor to call me but to this day I haven't received a call. The service is soo poor and am very much disappointed in them. Please someone to assist in this regard legally so as Clientele Legal are sleeping on me.
