I was travelling through north Umhlanga to Richard's bay for holiday and then realised that my blinkers were not working, so I looked up the nearest autoshops and picked one at random so I do not get stopped. Already had a close call on the N2 without them. Anyways, I went here after calling really quickly to see if they take new people in, and they saw me immediately. After about an hour (I went off to a nearby mall in a friend's car) they called me saying that it was fixed. The only thing that needed to be done was fix a switch with a short circuit by disassembling the front end of my car and then reassembling it. All of that took less than the hour, but they just wanted to make some round checks. I was expecting to be hit with a R1000+ bill because of all that they did, but they only charged me R200... I was shocked. I honestly thought it was a typo, but they did not charge much for labor. Honestly, i wish I had one of these kinds of shops in Port Elizabeth. I wish I could give these guys more business because it is so rare that real mechanics service your car without doing a bunch of extra fixes to add to the bill. They are amazing and anyone living in the area should consider them. I think this was in Ballito.
There is not much to say other than their water is cheap, pretty consistent all over the country so I do not need to worry about travelling and getting worse water in another city, and the staff are competent. That is all I can ask for from a water company lol.
A full restaurant on a Friday evening is always usually a good measure of the food. I tried booking ahead by phone but its not their policy so we arrived there. The collection of deliveries section is situated right up front to the right of the entrance. There should be staff stationed to look out out for potential sit down customers upon their arrival but non were in sight. Eventually we did get noticed and got seated. We ordered the pork ribs 400gm and the chicken espatata. The ribs were perfectly cooked and tasty and the meat came off the bone ( but not too easily to be mushy) and was so tender that you didn't even need to use fingers. The Chicken was also great - not dried and over cooked but the BBQ sauce is a bit sweet for my liking. ( Next time its per- peri or lemon & herb sauce for me) The waiter ( Blessing) was the correct balance of attentiveness yet unobtrusiveness. The atmosphere is lively if a tad noisy. The sounds bounce off the ceiling too readily - probably needs some padding but the overall experience was good and I get the impression that the rest of the food needs to be tried in the not too distant future to give this place true justice. Definitely a find and much better than originally anticipated!
I love the new Uncapped product that they offer! It is perfect for students who cannot afford to pay R1000 for data every month. So far is it fast, and it has been a HUGE weight off of my shoulders having to worry about how much data I use every month. My download speeds are about 7Mbps in the late afternoons I guess because that is when everyone is off but then they go up to the cap of 10Mbps consistently throughout the day, so I am more than happy. When they said "up to" I was worried that I would get less on average but that has not been the case in Port Elizabeth.
I had sent a customer’s order on the 21st of November 2021 and it took days for them to pick it up and since then, my client hasn’t received her order. This is not good for my business at all. I wrote to them and was promised that they will keep me updated but they never did. They are messing up my client relationships!
