VODAMAIL DISCONTINUED Today we were just disconnected from our email accounts which we have had for more than 15 years and the VODACOM service line 082 135 leaves much to be desired as you cannot get to speak to a consultant anymore! We have kept this VODACOM prepaid number active so there can be no reason for the disconnection of the email service. OR, is this because VODACOM prepaid clients who have email mailboxes and addresses on Vodamail will be asked an additional payment of R29.00 pm for a service that was FREE with any prepaid VODACOM SIM. Since the VODACOM service line is pretty much unhelpful how is it possible to query this disconnection and reconnect my email service? Their Vodamail Online Website also cannot be accessed. VODACOM please help??
Dear Zamokhule Nagabane, We write to you hoping this matter could be amicably resolved. Let it be known that this contract, after having terminated, moved to a month to month basis. The telephone call to your customer call centre, attached above, clearly indicates that the contract is CANCELLED and that there would be NO further charges. Someone in MTN SA has chosen not to cancel the contract, migrate the number to prepaid and charge a further R539.00. No charges were confirmed in the attached telephone call above except for the R539.00 fee which has been paid. Now you add another R100.00 after confirming no further charges. Our grievance was posted before on this popular website Hellopeter with no response from MTN SA whatsoever to get a consultant to reply. You have had over enough time to timeously respond to our concerns but chose not to. Now after numerous emails asking you to resolve the issue, you respond much later wanting us to accept your apology and pay another R100.00 Your incredibly incompetent handling of this contract cancellation leaves much to be desired and has certainly brought your company MTN SA into disrepute. The outcome we expect in this matter is to remove the R100.00 charges. If you choose not to, and to further bring your company into disrepute, we will escalate this to an independent arbiter, such as the ombudsman or ICASA to rule on. We await your response as to how we should proceed.
On the 28th of April 2022, i called MTN customer services 5 times, and each time while speaking to a consultant the call was just dropped. After the sixth time i had managed to speak to a consultant who eventually serviced my request by cancelling my MTN Data contract 063 841 7470. On the 3rd May i called to ascertain whether my contract was indeed cancelled and was told that it had NOT been cancelled on the ref: 1-18790406563 of the call that i had when i did do the cancellation, whereupon the call was again dropped. I then wrote a complaint email to Bongi Moatshe. (Bongi.Makhubo@mtn.com ) MTN Head Office. I still have NOT received any correspondence advising that my contract is cancelled. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR PROPERTY!! They service all of Joburg and Tshwane. They go by various aliases AA Electrical, AA indoor Electrical, AJ Fast, but always indicate Electrical and Plumbing. Chose them because of NO CALL OUT FEE. They were supposed to replace an oven element. Said it was three switches on DB board tripping the oven. When they left and we turned the oven to its maximum there was a FIRE on the bake oven element. They refuse to take responsibility. They refuse to give a refund. Use different names to advertise in REKORD local suburban newspapers. Use : AA indoor Electrical and Plumbing DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR PROPERTY!! Use many different aliases and numbers: 082 622 2150 012 023 1236 011 440 1622 082 622 2150 084 866 0744 079 577 2228 071 728 0070 They will make your problem worse in order to scam you!! DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR PROPERTY!!
