WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Terrible, absolutely terrible. Joke of a company. So much for calling it GAP cover. DO NOT USE MEDWAY AS THEY ALWAYS FIND AN EXCUSE NOT TO PAY OUT A CLAIM! I feel cheated out of my money as they only needed to cover R2400 of a R230 000 medical bill. They refused the claim saying that they do not cover hospital consumables. WHAT UTTER BS IS THIS. The claim was for medicine that my Premature baby needed as he was in the NICU for 5 weeks. They asked for my medical aid and relevant ICD codes to investigate, and they came back with the same response. HOW IS MEDICINE, HOSPITAL CONSUMABLES??!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. STAY AWAY!
