Worst experience ever. Don't use this company. Between this courier company and Shimmeryglo (the place that I ordered a product from). Both are a S C A M. The "so called delivery driver" - if he's real, he delivery company keeps calling after office hours (even at 20:00) and then marks it as a “failed delivery” when I don’t answer. Who would think to answer at 8pm for a delivery. On another day they called once, didn’t try again, and still marked it as failed. I just so happened to be on another call. When I returned the call within 30 seconds today, the driver said they had already left. How convenient.
This company is a ****. The product never arrived. I ordered one of their thermal curlers and had an extremely frustrating experience with this company’s delivery service. The delivery team repeatedly attempts delivery after office hours — including a call at 20:00 — and then marks it as a “failed delivery” when I understandably don’t answer. The final straw was today: I called back within 30 seconds of the missed call, and the driver told me they had “already left.” Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Once this happened, I was convinced this is just ****.
I’m thoroughly disappointing and hazardous experience with Amicii through the Mr D delivery service. Placing an order for a gluten-free Margherita pizza, along with two additional toppings—garlic and mushrooms—resulted in a nightmare rather than a meal. Despite paying a premium of R28 for the supposed gluten-free option and shelling out an extra R12 for garlic and R28 for mushrooms, the delivered pizza was a colossal letdown. Not only was it NOT gluten-free, but it also arrived devoid of the promised garlic and mushrooms. Attempting to rectify this egregious mistake, I lodged not one but two complaints with Mr D's customer service, seeking appropriate compensation for the botched order and the subsequent health consequences. Regrettably, their response was lackluster and unsatisfactory, as they only saw fit to refund a measly R28. As someone with a severe gluten allergy, the ramifications of consuming gluten are not just discomforting but potentially perilous. Predictably, I suffered health repercussions after consuming this misrepresented pizza, rendering me ill for hours. The mere R28 compensation offered is not only paltry but fails to address the actual cost incurred for the extras, let alone the distress and health hazards caused by their negligence. This experience not only jeopardized my health but also underscored a blatant disregard for customer safety and satisfaction. Amicii and Mr D's failure to deliver on their promises, coupled with their inadequate compensation, reflects a blatant disregard for basic customer care and safety protocols. I implore potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with Amicii and Mr D, as their negligence and indifference towards fulfilling orders accurately and responsibly could have severe consequences for unsuspecting consumers.

Their dismissive attitude underscores a distressing lack of concern for customer welfare and satisfaction. The disregard for basic customer care and safety protocols, coupled with the negligent and indifferent response post-complaint, reflects a disconcerting pattern of behavior from Mr D and Amicii. Their failure to rectify their mistakes and address customer grievances in a meaningful manner is nothing short of appalling. This experience has not only left me severely disappointed but also highlights the risks associated with patronizing establishments that exhibit such blatant disregard for customer concerns.
