I wanted to share my experience with Capitec. We took a 17-month loan and made every payment on time, sometimes paying double to finish early. Last month was supposed to be our final payment, yet Capitec is still debiting our account for future dates. Despite countless calls and emails, and repeated promises that the debit orders would be reversed within hours, the issue remains unresolved after three weeks. The lack of communication and transparency is extremely frustrating. If you have credit with these people, pls review your statements.
I would not recommend Spaces based on my experience. I had a lease with them from July 2024 until early January 2025. Two months before my lease ended, I informed them that I would not be renewing due to relocating for work. I moved out a week before the lease ended and requested the refund of my two-month retainer. I was told it would be paid a month after my lease ended. Instead of receiving my refund, I was asked to pay an additional R2,000 as a "restoration fee"—a steep charge considering I left the space in its original condition. I paid it without complaint, as I urgently needed my retainer back. Anyone who has relocated knows how important budgeting for such expenses is. Now, nearly three months later (approaching four), I still have not received my refund. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, I have no confirmation of when—or if—I will be paid. The lack of transparency and accountability has been frustrating, and I would caution others before signing a lease with them.
I have been trying to contact thos company regarding my claim for 5 months.
Like many of you, I resigned from my previous employer in May and submitted a withdrawal claim with NMG Benefits in June. They NMG Benefits Parody - Come and Share Your Story with Me on Twitter promised my money would be in my hands by the second week of July. Fast forward to September 27th—still waiting. Countless calls and emails have resulted in nothing but empty promises. I’ve reached out to the FSCA and am trying to connect with the Pension Fund Adjudicator, but my optimism is fading. Complaints about NMG have been surfacing since 2019, well before the “two-pot system” excuse came into play. Here’s a red flag: they don’t even have an X account (formerly Twitter). In response, I created “NMG BENEFITS PARODY.” I invite everyone to share your stories, whether about the two-pot system or other issues. If you want to stay anonymous, DM me on Twitter, and I’ll share your experiences without revealing your identity. Let’s shine a light on NMG and demand accountability

If, like me, you made a withdrawal claim and have been unable to get in touch or find out what happened to your money, please google FSCA AND lodge a complaint against NMG Benefits. I want this business to be investigated.
I am going to say this again. Your lack of communication is quite poor. Please do not respond to me with that automated lazy response. Your people said I would have my money by the end of August. What is the new excuse for the delaying this time? I have been trying to call all morning.
Dont respond to claims and the employees dont pick up calls.
I am very disappointed about the way these people have treated me in the last 3 months. I made a withdrawal Claim on early June It has now been 8 weeks, and my claim has still not been processed. Every time I call to inquire about the status of my claim, I am told to call at another time because the staff are in training. This delay and lack of communication are extremely frustrating and unprofessional. It might be that I will never see my money.
