I was at the door at exactly 19:00, explained that I had an emergency with an adult who has diarrhea and vomiting, needing medicine ASAP. The security guards blatantly refused me entry to the store despite my running to the store and getting there before they pulled down the roller doors. Now my sister has messed herself because I couldn't get her meds! Such dehumanizing behavior.
This morning, I requested a trip as per usual with my daughter's school as a stop, the driver was driving at 30km/hr. Why? I have no idea. His driving was very poor - he must be new to the driving thing. We arrived at my daughter's school (the 1st stop) and when I took my daughter in, and and came back out, the driver was gone! Not just gone but gone with my valuables in his car!! I tried calling him using the uber platform and to my annoyance - the number was answered by a woman who was sleeping! Definitely not the driver who dropped me off!!! Now I couldn't locate the driver who had ended the trip prematurely and left with my valuables! My work laptop and equipment was all in his car! I tried calling again on the uber platform and because I had tried to call - uber was not giving me an option to call the number again, instead the app popped up a message saying that they'd contact the driver and tell him that he had left with my stuff. Livid! Late for work! Anxiety was at it's peak!! Then I try calling him the 3rd time now on the app. I tell this woman who has his phone to tell him to bring my stuff where he had left me. He later came with another rider in his vehicle with my stuff next to the rider! I am so angry thinking about this, because I had to now make an alternative plan to get to the office after this ordeal! Honestly speaking! Uber your standards are dropping!!!! Do better! Train your drivers and ensure that they are ready to start the ehalling service!! If they are not high on Dagga, vehicle smelling either dagga, or as if someone had been sleeping all night in the vehicle, it's the driver ending the trip prematurely and leaving with your stuff!!! I ended up forking extra money to get to work! I did not sign up for stress before 08:00 on a working day Uber!
I ordered on the checkers sixty60 app. I received confirmation and the ETA was 11:32. I receive a whatsapp message from the Checkers sixty60 number saying that the driver was outside at 10:56. At 10:57 I am standing at the gate and no driver in sight. I am puzzled as I know that the driver is supposed to call me to say he has arrived, non of that happened. I then call the sixty60 helpline number and that was just a waste of airtime because the consultant Vuyolwethu was of no help, he could not even confirm whether the driver had even gotten to my place and what exactly happened - timeframes!! This whole service is a big ****! NOW I HAVE TO WAIT +AN ENTIRE HOUR FOR MY MONEY TO BE CREDITED BACK IN TO MY ACCOUNT IN ORDER FOR ME TO MAKE ANOTHER ORDER??? Absolute trash!
The ribs were tough, felt like I was chewing on bark. Oh the chicken and avo salad with almonds🤦♀️Horrid! Had to ask for salad dressing because it was given just a slight "drizzle" Basic orange juice tasted like it was 70% water and 30%orange juice with pulp😭my southern comfort mojo jar? Virgin!!! Virgin I tell you. Ordered a classic beef burger to take away boy oh boy... A DISASTER! Oh and while we were sitting at the kiddies side... We saw a rat🤣🤦♀️casually walking towards our table!!! Can I attach a picture? Sure😒for this total amount on my bill... I aint happy. Poor waitress was apologizing the whole time! Posted a review on their Facebook page on Sunday night, they responded monday requesting my contact details for them to contact me and resolve the issue. Its Wednesday today and the silence is super loud for a bill close to R500!
