Having been a loyal client of what uses to be a reliable and prestigious car-hire company, I am bitterly disappointed in the staff conduct and lack of professionalism. The car I was given at East London Airport, South Africa, was not the upgrade which I had been promised - with the excuse - we don't have. I had sent an email 5 days prior to my arrival plus a WhatsApp to remind them of their upgrade offer. Not only that, the car had half a tank of petrol, and was not 100% full as stated in the online report. When driving, I reported this to their online customer service, with the response "Call them" - referring to the East London branch. I then instructed them that they should be doing the calling! When I arrived at my destination, I called and was told to email a certain athene.naidoo@europcar.co.za about my issues. I gave her 24 hours to respond and still nothing! Shocking, shocking service. They don't care. They don't want to care. Never again
I have never experienced such exorbitant prices for batteries and such an appalling attitude. I was told they do not give refunds and when I asked for their company policy which should be available for customers to view, the shopkeeper told me to contact his boss. The boss, called "Collins" never answered his phone, nor WhatsApp until I re-wrote a request for a refund an hour later. The attitude of the shopkeeper, Truth, was appalling. I have NEVER been treated so badly in a store before. There clearly is no regard for customers nor the fact that they charge way above the average rate.
I am horrified by how a company, called "Property Specialists" do not offer much in the way of anything special. Murano - a beautiful, upmarket residential estate in Bryanston, Johannesburg was built by Summercon, with no down-pipes in the single units. As a result, water coming off the roof, cascades onto the patio flooding it and causing continuous damage to furniture and the tiles. I have requested for the problem to be addressed 6 months ago and keep being shafted; obviously single-unit owners are not seen as valuable members or important enough levy-paying clients. I would NOT recommend using them, nor Easy-Living Agents either as between the two of them, no one can make a decision or at least even try to resolve the problem.
