Homefix Mzansi aka Atlantic Home Renovations
Peterson and Ashy from Homefix Mzansi (also known as Atlantic Home Renovations) start off by seeming so professional and competent. Besides charging us a site inspection fee before the job and a 75 % deposit they arrived for a one day job at 11:30am and then started the job without adhering to anything discussed and agreed on and beams were installed completely skew - clearly no spirit level was used . When we stopped them and asked them to change it to what was agreed they refused to accept any resposibility. They have refused to come back asking for almost another 50% of the original quote in order to continue. They have not responded to numerous attempts to communicate with them. They have taken no responsibility for the 'misunderstandings' and have shown no intention of solving the issue. The work they have done so far is substandard and definitely in no way up to the level of professionalism they show in their adverts and photos. Disappointing and unfortunately effects all small businesses trying to run good businesses. With a larger company one always has some accountability and they value their reputations and customer feedback. With guys like this there is zero recourse and they are ruthlessly arrogant in the way they deal with their customers. We have lost a lot of money and have an unfinished job that now needs to be completed by somebody else.

ROYAL PEKINGESE KENNELS A TOTAL SHAM
These guys are total scammers. Weeks of trying to get puppies we paid a R5000 deposit for. Their communication is shocking or non-existent, don't answer phones, don't reply to texts. One of 'our' puppies developed a condition that needed an operation and he asked us to pay 50% of the vet's bill. Eventually canceled the purchase and let them know we would no longer take the puppies and never heard a word from them again. Asked for a refund once they find new homes for them but also had zero reply. We learnt an expensive lesson - don't buy anything you cannot go and see in person. Apparently puppy scamming is big business and these guys are heartless. They apparently breed pekingese and Frenchies and possibly other breeds as well.

The ( Im) perfect Touch
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes from Perfect Touch - both were wrong and to return THEIR mistake I had to go to a courier and PAY to return their incorrect order to them! R180 COURIER COST from within the same city. Other companies will collect incorrect orders from your address at their expense. You cannot phone them or message tem on their social media accounts... I will NEVER order from The Perfect Touch again.
