In August last year my Opel Meriva had a gearbox seizure and I took it to be repaired. I was told that I needed a Gearbox Code to complete the jobI contacted Brokensha's in Escourt to request such a code. They in turn contacted Key Chev in Maritzburg. Key Pmb sent Brokensha's a RADIO code and a KEY code but no Gearbox Code. Afer nothing happening I asked my repairer to contact Key Ptn this year, who in turn wanted R 1 500 for it, but to date nothing has happened as well. After contacting Brokensha's again, they in turn contacted Key Pmb who now told them that the RADIO & KEY codes are all thats available. All this going on is also supposed to have taken between Opel factory in RSA and the Opel factory in Germany. I do not thing that KEY Chev has any idea of what they are doing, if charge for a few numbers that should be supplied with the vehicle do they also supply vehicles without spare wheels. This saga has been going on for nearly 7 months now.
On 8 January 2022, I purchased a " Rest Assured " Ruby Mattress and Base set. First of all I was told that delivery would be early the following week, but was only delivered after I had Phoned to ask where my bed was. During the following week the bed started to make a lot of noise when someone lay on it. I phoned Hugh Mathie Beds and was told someone would come see the bed. Nobody came and the noise got worse, so I phoned and asked to speak to Hugh Mathie. He wasn't available and neither did he return my call. After another 2 calls and no response from Mathie, a representative from Rest Assured came to look at the bed. He confirmed that the noise was coming from the base and he would contact HMathie. After a week I made numerous calls to speak to Mathie, he eventually phoned back and said that person who came out was from the wrong factory and that my base was not from Rest Assured but from some other factory. This was on the 3 February and Mathie said that he would get the maker of the base to come and see what is wrong, up until today 17 Feb I have not had any response from said factory nor from Mathie, It is shocking that the owner of the shop where I purchased the bed cannot return calls made to him nor does he come out to inspect the bed himself. He just seems to supply inferior quality furniture neither doer the factory that any interest in the problem.
DStv account department are not interested in refunding any money that is paid to them even if it was paid to DStv by mistake nor do they make any effort to answer any attempts to speak to them. On the 8 January I was paying my accounts and I mistakenly paid R4 000.00 to DStv. I have made numerous attempts to contact the accounts dept, but everyone who answers the DStv Customer Care do not know what to do. I tried the chat line and contacted Karabo Lethake, who asked me to send in copies of Proof of Payment & Proof of Bank details. He gave me a reference number of 36251071, this was on 19 January and I never heard anything more about it it. Later on at the end of January I call Customer Care again and was informed that DStv only refund low amounts like R100 immediately but large amounts have to wait. This is ridiculous the money is not theirs and if I delayed my subscription by 2 days my DStv service is cut off. Is this how DStv make their money by stealing other peoples money. Thanking you, T Nunes
