We get charged for parcels that don't get delivered. When you phone, then there is always an excuse. In June I was billed double, but did not receive the parcels. I phone Hachette on 17 July to find out why I was billed double, but have not received any parcels. The consultant I spoke to told me that there were two parcels dispatched on 26 June and that I should give it until the end of the week (20 July) to receive my parcels. I have still not received them. I just called them again and spoke to Mick/Nick (not sure). He tells me that another parcel has been dispatched, but that I must be patient because the post-office is on strike. When I question this, he tells me to go to the post office with my membership number and try and find out where my parcel is. I told him that since there was no "tracking number" there would be no way for the post office to track my parcel. Yet he still insists that I go to the post office and try and find my parcels or that I should wait until 15 August to receive my parcels. I find it strange that Hatchette's parcels don't get delivered, but all the other mail comes through just fine. So, where is the problem? Is Hatchette just incompetent? Are they just trying to get money for products they are not delivering? Or is the post office on strike? It just seems to me that it is always easier to blame the post office being on strike than try and find out where the real problem lies.
Have been battling to get a copy of the NaTIS certificate for my car that was paid off in 2009. Wesbank is still the title holder. Last payment was made in September 2009, but they contend that the certificate was sent on 21 August 2009, prior to me paying the last installment. I have paid for a copy to be sent by courier, but no reaction has been received to my emails or faxes. The purchasing of a new vehicle is incumbent on the sale of this vehicle. Time is of the utmost importance, as my daughter will be using the funds as a deposit on her first car and will be away for training for 6 months and we need to get this sorted before she leaves. Wesbank is quick to take your money, but their service is absolutely disgusting!!!
I purchased two pedestal fans for one of my offices. I put the two large boxes in a trolley, paid for the goods and on leaving the store I was stopped by Isaac, one of the employees. I was not allowed to leave the store with the trolley. He has to walk with me to my car, so that he can bring the trolley back to the store. I told him that I had to first go to another store before going to my car. He refused to let me leave the store with the trolley. This is unacceptable. So I picked up the two large boxes, one under each arm and left the store. Do they think I am going to steal their trolley? None of the other retailers in all 4 malls have stopped a customer from walking to their car with a trolley, not even the other branch of clicks, which is in the Mooiriver mall in Potchefstroom. Where does this store policy come from? I spoke to the manager of the store, but the employee kept chipping in. I am not satisfied that this matter will receive any further action by the manager of the store. This is not the first time this has happened, but be sure, it will be the last.
