I am really disappointed in MTN. I have upgraded my contract with them in February but still now in April I have not received my Anytime minutes or Data. They keep saying they have escalated the matter but no one gets back to me. For such a big multi-national cellular operator they are very unprofessional. All my payments are up to date but they still not allocating what is owed to me. i will not be paying anything anymore until they fix what is broken. I am really disappointed with their service. DO NOT USE MTN SERVICES. GO TO VODACOM.
My issue with Makro started when I was searching for laptops to buy for light business work. I knew that I needed a laptop with good specs but I was on a tight budget. Knowing this, I did some research and found the Asus laptop on Makro's website. Now I am not a seasoned computer boffin, so I had to rely on Makro's call center staff for information as I had limited understanding of the specs when doing research. The specs didn't really make sense to me and neither did the reviews. The only way to really test the laptops is to switch it on. I then called Makro call center and asked their advice, especially about the returns policy as I don't have money just lying around and I need 2 laptops. The consultant clear as day told me that, as per Makro policy, I am allowed to test the product and if I am not 100% completely happy then I can return it, no questions asked, as long as it is in a resalable condition. I clarified and asked, are you sure I can switch it on and test it. The person confirmed and said yes. I said that's great and I purchased 2 Asus laptops online and waited for delivery. I received it without delay and obviously we switched it on and began checking how efficient it was and if it could work for our needs. After setting up the laptop and registering it, which you have to do if you wanna test it, the laptops each took a full day to run updates. So frustrating. Then after the updates we could finally start using it. It worked semi ok, was not the best laptops but it could work. Then to my surprise, more updates. Another day to run these updates. Obviously, this will not work for me. I decided we will need faster laptops, rather spend a little more and buy something better. To cut the story short, I bought other laptops, Acer this time but better processors, which work very well, but Makro will not refund my money for the Asus Laptops. They say, I switched on and used the laptops. I rep**** of course I did, I tested it, because the consultant said I could. Makro refuses to refund my money. I think that is very unfair and now they can't find the recording but they I have my own recordings of their staff telling me the same policy that I can switch it on and test and return it within 14 days if I am not happy. I am now very unhappy and at a loss of R10 000, as they are still not replying to my emails and phone calls. I promise, I will not leave this.....sorry for the long explanation. I would actually give no stars if that option was available.
am a very dissatisfied customer. I have been emailing the image factor as well as calling them but no answer. This is highly disappointing as we have made payment already for my wife's graduation photos in July but with no confirmation from The image factor. They are very unprofessional. I would caution you against using these people. i am definitely not gonna leave it like this and will push until I get a satisfactory result. You would think that UNISA did their homework and hired someone professional.
The Insaka platform is great to deal with. Golden nuggets of educational info. I have learned a alot from them so far on my journey into the world of e-commerce. Thanks Warrick
