After around the 10th time dinning at Ocean Basket Glen Marais we were rejected service due to having a small dog at my side. This is outside seating. If inside I could understand but as far as I’m concerned I’m seated outside with smokers. And to top it off while the manager (Mr Western - so he’s called) is rejecting to serve us another human is walking his dog through the outside seating area, in between the tables and interacting with people seated at a table opposite us. I understand the ‘rules’ but I don’t tolerate double standards. We have frequented this restaurant many times and never had trouble. This is because this is the only time Mr Western was actually on the floor. So that being said, I will never return to Ocean Basket ANYWHERE. These franchises offer nothing unique and special anyway. I would feel better if the manager didn’t treat me like I’ve done something wrong, my dog is better trained than a child sitting across me!
Listen here the worst, absolute trash wine I’ve ever had the unlucky most atrocious chance in my life to try. It’s like vinegar id rather not even use to make my biltong. Been through their site, social media - NO RESPONSE! They take no responsibility and this rubbish is selling at bottle stores nation wide. I bought 3 boxes from 2 different outlets! Thank god I have two oceans who actually make real wine!
How **** is this company now? Shocked, stores are a mess, call center is full of people with bad attitudes. How do you need to wait for a week without confirmation applying for a contract? Ridiculous! Unfortunately they’re better than the rest and most expensive. This is a monopoly and this night owl data story is cheating people big time. Useless! A manager must contact me immediately!
