My mother who is 87 years old is in Milpark Hospital with pneumonia. I have power of attorney for her account. I went to Nedbank Norwood with her to close the account. They could not do it and told us to phone 0800 555 111. ( the number on the Nedbank website) I did this and the account was closed ( 17 June 2025) Ref: 95371262 . There is no money in the account. I was told to phone and confirm that the account has been closed . I just called- 15 :30. They won't help me. They want my mother to go the bank. The account has already been closed. I was told to phone JUST to make sure the account has been closed. 1) We previously went to the bank - they cant close an account. 2) I phoned the number they gave, closed the account and got a ref number. 3) I phoned today ( 27 June 2025) with the ref number. 4) I was just told that my mother has to go the bank. 5) This is not correct. 6) The ref number I was given today for my call today : 95955863. 7) Please can someone from Nedbank visit my mother at Milpark Hospital by close of business today. 8) For the record- she will not be liable for any bank charges as the account was closed and the bank refuse to allow me to verify this. I’m really happy that my mom is an EX client. I plan to close my Nedbank account. The service is worse than disgusting.

Theft of car parts . Car returned with park distance sensors missing from back bumper. Back bumper was not involved in accident . Assessor confirmed that sensors were there when car was towed in. Photo taken outside of Proline office at time when car was collected shows holes in the bumper- sensors missing. It was arranged for car to be collected on 5 May 2025 at 8:30. Despite me phoning multiple times , at 9:10 , the car had not yet been collected. The excuse- traffic & multiple accidents . The drives seat was also returned damaged
I was recently admitted to the Netcare Linksfield Hospital for a day procedure. The nurses ,doctors , cathlab staff and ward manger all gave excellent service. Reception was chaotic though. It was not explained how the system worked. Each person had to take a number, but there were random numbers in the box which were not in sequence
At the beginning of March 2025 I cancelled the fiber connection for a family member. I included an invoice. MWeb made a mistake- the cancelled my internet. I phoned many times. The shortest time I held on was for 20 minutes. I was told that I was reconnected . On 8 April I reviewed M Web on Hello Peter. Their response- NOTHING . I phoned again- held on for over 25 minutes. I as told that I had been reconnected . I explained he fiber was not working. They said they would put me through to tech support. I was then cut off. Please can anyone please suggest how I can change to another ISP. M Web are a disgrace.
I cancelled a fiber account one month ago. The fibre is at Club Street in Linksfield, JHB. This is for a family member .An invoice was sent with the cancellation request. The fiber in Fairmount in Fairmount, where I live, was disconnected by mistake. I phoned a number of times - holding on for at least 20 minutes each time. I was told that Fairmount was re activated. I got home and the internet was not working. I called tech support. ( 18:15). I was 25 in the queue. I don't have that much airtime. Please advise how I can change my internet service ( actually, lack of service) provider. Thanks

Disgusting . The worst bank ever. Nedbank Norwood , JHB . I have signing power for my 87 year mother. It was done in 2024 at Nedbank Norwood. I asked for a copy of the document. I was told it was not needed- it's on the computer ( I persuaded them to give me a cop y) My mother is frail & not mobile. She was born BC ( before cellphones / before computers) . She needed to transfer money from Nedbank to FNB. She used the wrong PIN and got locked out. I went to the bank. I told them I had signing power. They told me it's not on the computer & not in her file. I left work early top go the bank. They close at 4 pm, other banks at 5 pm. I never had time to go home & get the paper, which I was told I don't need . I told them I want to close my Nedbank account - sorry ( they didn't say sorry ) - they can't do it. Need to go to a bigger branch. I will go to a bigger branch- but a Capitec one. They asked me who helped with the power of attorney in 2024. It slipped my mind - can anybody out there possible help me ?
