My son bought five pot knobs at the stall in Cresta Shopping Centre on Friday, March 28, 2025. Lulu, at the stall in Clearwater Mall, once told me that if you return the old knobs, the new ones have a 50% discount. My son was unaware of this. Cresta, when I walked pass them by chance, suggested I talk to Jenny Potgieter who referred me to Edith Dioka. Everyone just say nothing can be done. In my opinion the people who sold the knobs to my son should have told him about the discount. This is poor customer service.
When we bought pre-paid electricity in February, through vendor X, we got 551.6 units for R1 000. On 12 March we bought pre-paid electricity from Capitec for R1 000 and got 383.0 units. A DIFFERENCE OF 168.6 UNITS. I WONDER WHY THERE IS SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE! Capitec say they cannot help iI must speak to Joburg City Power who does not respond to calls, emails or tweets. I asked Capitec for assistance with no availe. Meter 48000389766

The balance on my credit card account on 26/08/20121 was R291-00 which was payable on 20/09/2021. FNB stated on my statement that R192-00 will be debited to my account on due date. I therefore made a payment of R100-00 to my account which was shown on 18/09/2021. Somebody paid R50-00 into my account without telling me. If the debit was processed as indicated my account would have been overpaid by R51-00. FNB decided to only debit my bank account with R42-00 which, with the other payments, totaled R192-00 which was the minimum payment required. They therefore decided to ignore that I would have paid the full balance if they did not change their charges. As the made my account to be in arrears they duly charged me on interest on the the account that they caused to be in arrears,
What happened to the AA I signed up for about 50 years ago? In those days anything you wanted to know about roads, road conditions and suggested routes you could ask them and you got a real good response. I am visiting in Upington and heard the road washed away somewhere between Khuruman and Vryburg. I went to the AA website and asked what is the best route to follow. I did not say the road was damaged. I got a response with a link to the N14. There was no indication that the road was damaged. I mentioned it to them and was told :- It will be best to call the Road Management Authority , they will be able to tell you 012 999 5200 Today I looked at the link again and now there was a marker that say the road is damaged and to expect delays. I still do not know how safe it is or if there is a better route. I am disappointed with the response I got.
Negative review of a scammer was removed. No wonder I invested as I could not find any thing bad about the company on Hellopeter. I have been contemplating for more than a year to say something.
I had a phone call from somebody pretending to be Capitec fraud department asking questions and asking me to log into the app. I suspected fraud and stopped the conversation. I reported the incident to the client service by email as well as on the website. Nobody from the fraud department contacted me yet. They are more interested in my account number than the actual fraud attempt. On another occasion a payment went of twice on my account with different amounts. When I tried to report suspected fraud telephonically I "failed" the security questions and was told to go to a branch. The possibility of fraud was of no interest to customer service
When one attend a presentation you are given information and promises are made but in real life none of it is true. There is a cancellation period but by the time you realise that you were told a lot of lies and your money is taken it is too late to cancel.

I had a small amount in a 32 day notice deposit after FNB botched the original cancelation. I asked them to close the account and pay the R121 .00 into my credit card account. i was told they cannot transfer it and will isssue a cheque and that i can pay it into my credit card. on 26 May the phoned me and said i can come and collect the cheque. The lady who phoned me later phoned again and said she paid it into my credit card and i was very thankful.

The R121.30 was paid into my credit card account and it attracted a deposit fee of R50-00 :-(

On Monday 2 November 2015 a debit order for R454.73 was processed to my bank account without my authorisation. I have written too LPA previously and asked them to cancel ALL debit orders that may exist on this account as I will decide how I will pay the Association Fees when it is due in July 2016.

On 3 November I left a message on LPA's web site asking them to get their accounts department to contact me - so far no response.

I also sent an email to their customer service department on 3 November 2015 requesting proof of my authorisation of the transaction. I got a response that the matter was referred to the relevant department and nothing else.

I am not happy with the poor service I have received from LPA
