This is for Sanlam Sky. I cancelled my policy in June 2025, sent the cancellation form which you guys acknowledged but you still keep debiting my account. I made a call to enquire and was promised that I will receive a call from cancellations dept. It’s been a month and no call recieved!

When you send communication regarding a policy or payment, you do not leave the relevant number to contact and your call centre agents takes you from pica to beta until airtime is finished. How frustrating!
This is foe Sanlam Loans! I sent an email to your customer care email address that is shown on my loan statement to inform Sanlam of the change of my salary date and to request a change of debit date for this account. I sent this email on the 12th of June 2024 but the debit still went through on the 30th of June 2024. I then made a call to follow up on the request since they continued to debit on the last day of the month and the lady assured me that the next debit will go off on the 15th of July 2024 whch DID NOT HAPPEN! I noticed from my banking app that Sanlam again debited my account on the 30th of July but unfortunately there was no funds. I later recieved a call from Sanlam and I told the agent of my email as well as telephonic request that they did not honour but he still kept telling me that I’m in arreas. I then asked How am I in arrears when it’s not my fault that Sanlam did not honour my request when they’ve assured me that I will be debited on the requested date??? I noticed another unsuccessful debit on the 6th of August 2024 and this got me so angry because of the unnecessary bank charges that they are incurring because of their defiance!! Is it really fair that my credit record is messed up because of an institution that is so defiant?? A debit went through on the 15th of August but Sanlam is still requesting me to pay for the unpaid debit that they tried to make on the 30th of July despite the fact that I informed them well in advance of my change in salary date!! This is really not fair
This is for Sanlam Loans. Why do you bother me with calls and then after holding for a while, your machine says that you are experiencing technical problems and unable to put me through to your consultants??? Why don’t you solve whatever technical issues have first then call me and stop wasting my time?

Please answer our calls! Just answer your phone!!! Or atleast have an option to request a call back.
