AMICA LEGAL FEES FOR EDGE GYM
Me again, never ever join this gym!! My contract was for a year for R299 a month, during covid I did fall behind but honoured my arrears. What I find strange is the Debt Collecting company never sends me statements, only when I ask. I have been paying R200 a month for a long time now yes my "handover amount" on each statement shows the same date every time but with a different handover amount....starting with R8000, then R10 000, now its R19000. How on earth is that possible. Will be sending my statements to the Ombudsman so they can have a look.

Edge Contracts
Guys be very very careful when joining Edge Fitness. Read the fine print in the contracts. If you signed up for 12 months, make sure you cancel it in writing. Otherwise they just continue deducting without your consent. I have never seen so many complaints on a gym like Edge Fitness. Also if you are handed over exorbant fees. If you owed R2000 beware you will be owing 4 x more in the end. So beware.
