<p>I've never dealt with somneone less capable of processing a claim in my entire life. For every 1 step you move forward, the consultant moves it back 2 steps with a question around something that has already been covered, or a document that has already been sent. You then get told that the pressure you're putting the concultant under is not fair, because they're "doing their utmost best". Once you complete navigating the minefield of everyone's emotions and the end is in sight, the consultant hands you over to their manager because "clearly you are unhappy with the service I am providing". Each exchange by email takes 24-48 hours and at least 2 follow ups before you get a response. Normally the response does not address the question that was originally asked. Not worth trying the phone, they never answer, if someone does, the message never gets to the person dealing with your claim. <br /><br />I wouldn't say I am unhappy with their service. I really don't know. As soon as I get service of any kind, I'll make a call on my relative happiness or lack thereof. I am now in a holding pattern while I wait for a "manager".<br /><br /><br /><br /></p> <p>All this while my UBER car waits for repairs to get back on the road, and my driver sits at home with zero income, because someone isn't mentally or emotionally eqipped to handle a straightforward car accident insurance claim.<br /><br />IF I wasn't living this nightmare, I would believe this level of incompetence was possible.</p>
<p> </p> <p>This is the Fourth report I file, still nowhere close to being resolved, despite the fact that Telkom reply on this site within minutes of me posting my report. This is the only place they reply, after that absolutely nothing gets done about the problem. Becoming a bit tedious to type out every time. The headline says it all. The service i cancelled, I am still being billed for. The service i replaced it with has been over-billed and it doesn't do what they said it would do. I also only had hardware delivered in MArch, despite being billed for the full package from 3 January. No-one at any of their numerous useless helpdesks can offer anything even closely resembling help. They only ever refer me from one Dept to another, and it has gone full circle.</p> <p>I can't not pay for the service they shouldn't be billing me for, because then they cutr everything and I can't earn a living, so I have no choiuce but to keep making minimum payments on an ADSL service I don't want or use, and that I have replaced with an upgraded LTE service from them , which incidentally doesn't reach speeds of even a quarter of what was advertised. It's a complete mess, and I can't get a single decision make from Telkom to resolve this despite numerous emails and calls.</p> <p> </p>

Twice on Twitter they reached out to me to ask for contact details, saying they would be in touch.<br> <br> It's 2 March, my services that I depend on to make a living, have been cut because I have only been paying for the products I pourchased, and not the ones they failed to cancel.<br> <br> Also, I have not yet received 50% of the hardware that came with the package I bought on 3 January.<br> <br> TELKOM are just the absolute bane of my existence, I despise everything they stand for.
I have been an ADSL subscriber on their top package for since 2005. I upgraded to LTE 200GB package with promised speeds of \up to 100mbps\" on 6 January 2016. I took the bundle with Iphone 4s and Apple Tv included. It's now 13 Feb and though I have been charged and am being charged, I still have not received these items after being told they would be delivered to me by 10 January.<br> <br> When I took out the LTE package, I cancelled my ADSL - you would think that logic dictates that an ADSL subscriber upgrading to LTE would no longer need ADSL in the same house, right ? Not if you're telkom.<br> <br> On 7 January I was back at the shop asking wqhy ADSL hadn't been cancelled yet, they said it would switch off in the coming days. As of today it is still not off and I am still being charged over R1000 per month for it.<br> <br> On twitter I have asked for help because I cannot get through to anyone at Telkom smart or empowered enough to make a decision.<br> <br> Messages from Telkom on twitter saying that someone will call me back where received on 7 Jan, 8 Jan, 9 Jan, 3 Feb, 4 Feb, 5 Feb, 6 Feb, 9 Feb (I have the transcripts if you need them).<br> <br> Still absolutely NO ENGLISH from Telkom."
