VFS Global & Embassy of Croatia
I was battling with VFS Global for visa applications and lack of response from them. Eventually called the Croatian Embassy who was extremely professional and incredibly helpful. They requested that anyone who is having problems with VFS Global, do contact them so that the Embassy is aware.

Incredible lack of support for small business, *********** new online system
KYC 1. Friday, 27Jun25 - went on STD Bank online for KYC (as a business) and completed everything but the system would not allow us to upload supporting documents. Documents were in correct formats and were under the required size. 2. Friday, 27Jun25 -We emailed Std Bank incl our RM regarding the issue and sent documents via email. 3. Friday, 4Jul25 - J Charles from Std Bank replies and requires us to complete form. 4. Tues, 8Jul25 - we emailed back the completed form. 5. Friday, 11Jul25 - JCharles sends another form to be completed and further document requirements. 6. Saturday 12 July25 - our business account is unable to make payments as "KYC non compliant". This is a disgrace Standard Bank. Small Business can ill afford your new online system nor this approach. This is inexcuseable. Have a container in Port that we need to pay customs duties & vat on Monday. Sort it out.

Standard Bank as Executors - no!
Trying to contact Standard Trust regarding a family member who has passed. The family member had appointed Standard Bank as the Executors. Been on hold for over 20 minutes and still counting - this is shocking service. The family is in trauma and you cannot access the Executors. Think I need to do a social media blog on the steps of someone passing and what happens if you appoint banks as Executors.

Poor post purchase response
I have normally received good service from Travelcheck (past years ago) but am extremely frustrated at the moment. Have been trying since 27May 2023 to get someone to assist me with redeeming my personal coupon code for travel but no-one responds to the emails (not services or ticketing). I just bought another air ticket too on Travelcheck! :( post purchase regret on that now! Don't use them, they don't respond post purchase anymore. They used to be great ...

Paladin Underwriting Managers
I have an outstanding claim for an motor vehicle accident. The Responsible Party's Insurance company is Paladin Underwriting Managers. Paladin staff will pick up the phone, put it on the desk and you get to listen to their background noise. Twice this has occurred and it is over 2 months that they have not resolved our vehicle claim when a Fidelity Guard vehicle reversed into our car. Shocking.
