For my 20th birthday dinner I chose to try Rjs at random! We were driving down the road and it caught my eye. My party of two arrived around 7pm on a Monday night and there was no wait. By the time we got out at 8, people were waiting. We enjoyed delicious bread as we waited for our food. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with green beans and chicken tortilla soup. It was awesome! I added grilled onions on to my chicken and it was not too bad!! Ridiculous! My mom ordered grilled chicken with a baked potato and salad. We both loved our food! Our waitress was sweet as well.
In the many years I have been a adsl and LTE client, it never occured to me to leave a review. Well, when my fibre line was dug up and stolen in George, I was able to cancel and upgrade my LTE plan very easily even though it was last minute. Thank you the sweet staff for accomodating me, most notably Dane. I greatly appreciate your efforts!!
I mostly love Deeghuys. There are some foods that are just not very good, but then there are others like their desserts which I enjoy. I am just going to make one suggestion to you, Deeghuys, and that is the make your cookie dough cheaper and also to make more cookie dough types because I cannot spend R80 on each packet every time I want to make a batch for a party which is surprisingly often now that I think about it. Once a month at least. One more thing, I think that you should sell softer cookies, too. EVERYONE sells crunchy and hard cookies in this country. You should set yourselves apart. I will just say that I was disappointed with the pies. I expected them to be better, at least better than the roadside pies you can find at petrol stations, but they were just meh. The staff are always sweet, though.
I must say that every time I order their pizza, they actually look at my comment to go light on the sauce on Mr. D. They are seriously so amazing considering what they have to work with. they are very consistent on most orders, though there was a rough patch about a year ago when I first tried their pizza, but they have since DRAMATICALLY improved. I plan on trying some of their other foods, eventually, but their pizza is honestly the best. It taste incredibly similar to Fiamma Grill's, but they price their pizzas much more affordably and reasonably, so I often go for them. I love the "build it yourself" function, too. You can get a simple cheese pizza for like R80 give or take a few rand. If my only options for pizzas in this town are thin crusted, then I will stick with these guys.
The one positive that I can give Wimpy is that there food tastes the same no matter where you go in the country. The issue is that their food is oily, greasy garbage. It looks and tastes cheap, and it makes me feel like an overweight slug after I consume it. The ice cream tastes like vanilla ice rather than a creamy, smooth blend, and their shakes are basically the same thing. They are cheap. Their waffles are cheaper and thin and flimsy. Not at all worth the money. I cannot believe that people grow up eating this slop. Wimpy is like the worst of all American diners on a good day.
