I placed an order for a rotating hair dryer via a Facebook ad on the 14th of June. They stated 9-14 working days delivery. I emailed them last week to find out where my order is because I have received no communication from them and it's past the delivery time frame they advertise. It is now 7 days after my email to their help desk and I still haven't heard anything back from them. I will never order from them again, and I don't advise anyone in South Africa to order from them either. It's highly likely a ****.
Although, to begin with, there was an issue with my job date and time, however they sorted it out very quickly and a mechanic arrived on the agreed day. A job well done, and so flippin convenient having it done at home! Thank you guys, you've made my life easier.
We went to SASSA Midrand as opposed to Roodepoort and it was amazing service. We had to go two days in a row and both days we were in and out within an hour and a half. Very helpful staff and it's clean with chairs to sit on and a clean toilet in the same area. Don't waste your time at Roodepoort, it's a nightmare. Midrand is heaven in comparison. Well done SASSA Midrand!
On the 18th of January 2024 at around 13h00, I visited the small MTN branch in Northgate Shopping Centre in Randburg. I was approached by a staff member whom I told I wanted to upgrade my phone. I was directed to counter 4 which was manned by Sithembiso Mzolo. I told him I wanted an iPhone 14 Pro Max, to which he answered they only have the iPhone 15 Pro Max in stock. I was happy to go ahead with that phone at which time his colleague came to me with the Oppo Reno10 Pro Plus. When I asked him what made the Oppo better than the iPhone 15, Sithembiso told me with an iPhone one has to purchase apps and pay for storage, whereas none of that is necessary with the Oppo. Not having used an iPhone before I knew no better and went ahead with the purchase. Upon my return home, my son who has only ever used an iPhone told me this is untrue and that I had been deliberately misled. Less than 24 hours later I returned to the Northgate branch on the 19th of January at around 11 am where my request to return the phone and exchange it for my original request was rejected. The store manager, Mpho, refused the exchange saying that because I signed a contract it can't be exchanged even when I told her in front of Sithembiso, wearing Oppo merchandise, that I had been deliberately misled to believe the Oppo is better than the iPhone. When I asked her what about the 7-day cooling off period, she rejected that too. I have been a long-standing MTN client and am very disappointed that I was deliberately misled by MTN's staff after I said my first choice was an iPhone. MTN's staff deliberately mislead and manipulated me into buying something that they'd **** about in order to get their brand sold. The sales person was wearing Oppo clothing, thus I conclude it was in their best interest to get the sale.
I am gutted by my experience with Express Deals Online Store. I ordered R4116.00 worth of items and cannot get hold of them. Upon further digging into their website I found so many pages with no information that can help. I have contacted the company who processed the payment to help me reach them. We'll see what happens. My advise - STAY AWAY FROM EXPRESS DEALS ONLINE STORE!!!!!!
