Pathetic service, moved out of the place they were leasing end of Nov 2025. Been sending emails no response. Still haven’t received my deposit back. Use them at your own risk!!!

Good day 24 April 2023: I took a R249 month to month contract with MTN. I was assisted by one of the ladies from Mondeor/Rewards Co. She advised me that I need to pay a pro-rata first before we can complete the transaction. A link was sent to me via e-mail, and I used my card to make the payment. 26 April 2023: The router was delivered to myself and when I got home, the internet was not working, it kept on saying (connected , no internet). I called the call centre I was advised that I can not be helped as the rewards team has knocked off, I need to call them between 8am – 5pm. 01 May 2023: I received my monthly statement from MTN stating that i owe R539.50 (which was debited from my account on 05 May 2023). I called again call centre and I was assisted by the lady called Philisiwe Ndamase, she advised me that the router was not active as yet as I haven’t paid the pro-rata. I explained to her that I’ve paid that already and sent her my bank statement. She said she would escalate the matter to the billing department. Till this day, I never received any feedback from her. 05 May 2023: I called again the call centre and I was put through the rewards team, the team leader tried to assist me , she did a conference with MTN customer service. We were transferred to more that 5 consultants. No one knew how to resolve my issue after I asked for the refund of R307.10 which I initially paid for prorate. The lady from mondeor/rewards said the refund must come from MTN. MTN says mondeor has no right to ask for a payment from me. The lady from mondeor said she will call me before COB tomorrow to give me feedback regarding the refund. Im still waiting for her call. Im extremely disappointed about the service that I received from MTN, I spent over an hour on the phone and nothing was resolved. The internet on the router is still not working. I managed to reverse R539.50 from my banking app. I need my refund of R307,10 to be paid back into my account. I will return the router to MTN (please advise where as I reside in Boksburg) I've sent emails, tweets...no response Regards Nomakhuwa Sibanyoni
I haven’t been using my SIM card since February but they are telling that I’m in arrears, where else this is a month on month contract. I’m very disappointed and I feel robbed. Their services are pathetic.
