Okay so here we go again, I wonder why the solar industry is so corrupt, so okay I placed an order with Ecopec the 25 of July 2022, this is after direct emails with a Person called Dominic. So, in the email I asked him “do you have stock?” and he assured me by saying “yes we have 100 units in our warehouse”. So, I placed the order, the confirmation from them stated that the order will be delivered the 3rd of August to my home and so it started. So, on the Monday before the 3rd of August I called Dominic and asked him so what is going on for you to deliver surely, I must receive a weigh bill from a courier company, he said I will call you back, apologised and they updated the order confirmation and the delivery date was then to 11th of August I said okay and guess what the 11th came and gone. So as per usual I called Dominic and asked for a refund, he said wait I will get back to you and he arranged a refund. I then asked for a proof of payment to be sent to me, and this is where it starts to get sinister, he sent me two proof of payments, the first one was for 25K and the second for 10K and this was done on the same day with Standard Bank, now I am a Standard Bank user and I know for a fact this can’t be done, the Standard Bank app will not pay the same account twice the same day. I called Dominic and explained this to him, to put insult to injury they did the payment to Capitec without an immediate payment so I had to wait three days for it to clear. Then 10K was the only payment that came through. I called him again and said what now? Do you see what I said was correct and he said no don’t worry it will be sorted out, it is now 3 weeks later, his newest excuse is yeah they are keeping the money back because of the order, my thinking is I did not place an order with you to order something for me and make me wait, oh no you said you had stock I have the emails, then I placed the order to buy your stock, so how is this happening, now I am in a position where I want my money back and I do not want to do business with you. I am still waiting for my refund, I call him every day and it’s just today, tomorrow and now we are at a stage where I can’t continue like this, EcoPec you have this week to sort this out I will be seeing my legal guys next week and I feel a nice Fraud case coming on here for SAPS to investigate, sending Proof of Payments in this manner and using fraudulent tactics like telling me there is stock and then using my funds to order in is nothing but criminal. Well I am done now I will not call you again the next person that will call is my layer or SAPS. This week guys don’t test me. To all the other consumers this is my experience and I have emails, WhatsApp’s and phone calls to prove this. I really thought these guys looks and sounds professional but ai shame just another scam, unprofessional and no-shame gang, to save yourself a lot of stress avoid them they will only do this to you.

Yap one happy customer today, so okay when you read my previous peace you can see I am really upset and I am hurting, it really felt like someone is steeling my money and I do NOT mean it in a preverbal manor like literally criminally steeling my cash. And lets face it this was not R 20.00 this is times 1000. Consumers guess what? I received a refund today in the full amount and that’s like wow great thank you are so awesome. U know I was preaching for me mom the other day and I told her “she always wants to fight” I said Mom believe in the good of others and I live my life like this. Ow man I was feeling like a poepol in this situation, but okay my believe has come through thank you Mr Du Plesis and Wife. So with this “I am a very happy person” I would like to say the following, I personally think you have a awesome company and you are on the money, if I look at this you guys are doing business the money is coming in and you have some shortfalls here. First and foremost is communication, my experience in talking to Nicky and Richard, you know just in talking to Nicky, it was very difficult in understanding her and look all employees are trying to do good but talking to clients on the phone is not her strong point, the same goes for Richard, but ei ai shame poor guys I must just imagine his position poor guy. This is all managements fault, so look I am not attacking you, me as a consumer is here to receive a professional service so give me one, in saying this, I am not a bad dude I am a relaxed cool person with plans, if you advertise something and you do not have stock tell me about it, have then a clear refund policy and stick to it and most importantly will be, to communicate this to your employees dealing with us. Now we are sitting with a person that can’t really communicate over the phone, we have a so to say man who is scared of every phone call that comes in and this is not helping. I promise you “I will bite no ones head off” it will however be a problem for all of us if you took the funds and then ordered stock with my funds and you made me wait for 2 months and the communication sucks, so first of all, receive the order, check stock and talk to the client, see what he want to do and we can avoid all of this stress. I must say this Hello Peter on your company profile is looking very bad and I can just think what it is doing to your company, so why don’t you guys rescue this situation, clearly your are good people, come here and reply, yes people are unhappy but it is up to you as a responsible person who in actual fact are looking and employing other people to manage this “Because you have the brains for it” come on we expect better. With all of this said thank you very much for my refund, please talk more to us we are all cool people, but the emotional stress you cause with not talking to us is unwarranted, and you will cause someone to die of stress one day. What a wonderful company and online service, they had items at very good prices, I am a first time buyer so I must say I do NOT have all the knowhow of what goes where and what runs together, well a couple of quick messages and the owner sorted me out you can take this you will need that very professional, you as a consumer may go ahead and enjoy very good service I feel happy about my service received and I am so enjoying all me new toys.
Great service from the get go, lil bit slow on delivery let's see how this goes I have a commitment from them if they for fill it I will update this review but so far good professional service I am waiting for my order.
