I thought the Consumer Protection Act protected customers who return defective goods within 24 hours. Not my experience at Nemtek Edenvale. After buying numerous 9V batteries for alarm systems and gate motors from Nemtek for years I endured an extremely distressing attitude and given a run around. No email.address on invoice.

The cheerful cashier assists her elderly customers carrying their purchases to the car. A pleasure shopping at this shop in a convenient strip mall.
Great service with incredibly pleasant bubbly staff at the Easy Bike store. Add to that very competitive pricing compared to corporates. We went in for a dashcam and left with a few items. An absolute breath of fresh air in a country where service is generally poor.
2019 Tornado claim assessors didnt arrive for appointments twice. After complaining an appointment was agreed for 10AM on a Monday. Assessors arrived over 4 hours late and I was rushing to catch a flight. In spite of numerous complaints I wasnt paid a cent while repairs to my roof alone was over R18000.
Their telephone was answered immediately on both occasions that I called Solenco. Staff are clearly highly skilled and knew the model I was talking about. Without any hesitation gave me the information and stock level of parts plus prices I needed. Their orders website was straightforward and my confirmation of purchase was sent to my phone instantly. I received a number of tracking updates and goods arrived at my door in timeframe promised. Absolute pleasure dealing with them. Parts a bit pricey but with first class service like that I was happy to pay.
Unopened Schweppes Tonic still wrapped in plastic and totally undamaged and outwardly sound leaked in my kitchen cupboards causing damage over 3 months ago. Spar say it's not their problem. Schweppes representative doesnt answer phone. Schweppes call centre ignores complaint. Schweppes on Facebook ignores complaint. Why are corporates permitted to treat consumers like this? A friend told me same thing happened to them. Time to protest outside Spar so other consumers are aware of the risk to their kitchen cupboards.
Telkom ignore official emails from clients and when you call their "Helpline" they refer you to their website where forms they talk about are nowhere to be found. Telkom are quite happy to take instructions for decades from official customer email addresses until the service is cancelled then they do everything in their power to keep charging unjustly in spite of proper notice of termination of service. This is how they treat clients who have patronized them for decades. Absolutely appalling.
Disgraceful service after sending official emails from my company email address Telkom Business refused to cancel the service as instructed. Historically if a monthly payment was short paid because their monthly account wasn't received and we were thereby forced to paiy an estimate they cut off our service in an instant. After 40 years of loyal patronage we sent notice of cancellation and they have continued charging and refuse to act on official instructions in a perceived attempt to dramatically overcharge for a service that is not used. I have it on good authority that I am not the only one to be exposed to this disgraceful conduct.
After months trying to get local stores in KZN to assist with my rusted Jetmaster braai I eventually contacted the manufacturers in Alrode JHB direct. Absolutely top notch service so I just bought a completely new braai. Such a breath of fresh air getting good advice and great service. Thank you Jetmaster.
