Budget Insurance South Africa if I were to rate your customer services, I would give you a 0😡 , I took a policy with budget April and I paid pro-rata on the 13th of April, I then paid normal premium of R1200 on the 20th. I called on the 23th to cancel my policy ,this other gentlemen asked if I'm canceling immediately , I said "yes" mind due nothing was explained about early cancelation ,penalties or implications, I asked him if I'm covered for the month of May he said no "I doesn't work like that will have to refund you first you need to call in to check if we did receive your premium. I phoned the following week I was told that they dd receive the payment And I am covered till month end of April, I asked how when I made to payment both for April and May then the lady said I must call on thursday .Thursday I phoned I was told I'm not covered, then I was transferred to this other lady who advised me that I have nothing to worry about I'm covered for the whole month of May. Today I call them because I got a call from Bontle the lady who was helping me on Friday with roadside assistance, she told that Simphiwe from client says I'm not covered , I phoned today to find out i spoke to the lady by the name of Nontuthuko she told me that I'm not covered they will have to refund me , and it will take 3 days before I get the fund ,I mean all along I thought I am covered for May meanwhile I'm not , nobody bothered to give me clarity as to what I happening .I was told the manager will call me .I'm still waiting. I feel I wasn't treated fairly as a customer.
