THE BEST YOU CAN EVER FIND IN BLOEM!!!!!! Great job, management ....... Great job, staff members ....... Your Hazel Nut Latte ....... THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Discovery to be one of the best companies, I have been using their insurance for my vehicle and house contents for many years, and I have never experienced any challenge. Last month I decided to change my bank and use Discovery Bank but I am not sure if I took a correct decision. On the 26 May 2025 I sent them a form from my employer to confirm the details of my new account as I want my salary to go in my Discovery Acc. I was promised to get it within 24hrs but to date nothing. Today in the morning I made a follow-up by calling the bank again. The gentleman I spoke to, managed to track down the form on their system and asked me to hold on whilst he tried to check what caused the delay. I kept on holding for almost 10 min and i ended - up hanging the phone. After that, he never bothered to call back or send the form confirming the account, This is a serious disappointment, I never thought Discovery can be so unprofessional with other services they provide. I decided to stay with my current bank because I foresee problems with this bank going forward.
I bought pajamas for my 2 children (adult and teenager) last week on Thursday and Saturday. The very first night they wore them, the trousers were ripped apart . lol... My elder son wore his in the evening of Saturday and before he went to bed, he showed me his torn trouser, at the back. it was a correct size and very lose. I laughed at him. Later I told the story to my daughter as a joke and she also said hers did the same. I got disappointed when she showed me, wow .... I am so disappointed with Mr. Price and it is my first time experiencing this. My money is gone down the drain and I am unable to return because they already wore them for a night ..... yooooo!!!!!! But its a lesson!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday my car was broken into at Mimosa Mall in Bloemfontein. The control room of the mall reported that the footage was not clear and the other camera facing the car is not working. I then called the manager of the mall this morning, a very nice guy. However, I got disappointed that he seemed to be taking offence when I related to him the past incidents that occurred at the very same mall, with victims being told that the cameras were either not working or not clear. Instead, he said I must bring those victims then he will agree with me (I was truly not forcing him to agree or disagree with me). I sit in some of the security cluster meetings in the Province and I have heard of incidents happening at the very same mall. When I mentioned that he said it is because they always advise victims to report the cases unlike other Centers or malls and this is why there is information available at the SAPS. I think the manager got a bit uncomfortable when I started to ask if the security officers/guards at the mall are vetted. he indicated that they are screened. I asked because I did not understand why it was impossible to download the footage in the 3 incidents I have witnessed or got to know about, yesterday and in previous years. How possible is it that ********s will play around the areas where cameras are not working, how would they know that. Unfortunately, he indicated that I was insinuating. My conversation with the manager was really to raise my concerns as a public member using the mall and to try to show him the gaps that the Centre might not be aware of as I also operate in the same industry of security. Crime in South Africa happens nearly in all malls no matter what security measures are in place. however, an effort to close identified gaps is always imperative. I would truly like to sensitize the public members in the Free State or those coming from outside to be careful when parking their vehicles at Mimosa Mall, ensure that there is nothing valuable when you leave your car, especially the NP 200 barkies.
I am truly not too angry with GEMS, however, they sometimes take time to respond to certain issues and this frustrates. Last month I made an inquiry with one of my claims that was not paid, my details were taken by a friendly lady and she told me to call after 2 weeks for feedback. I called after three weeks I was told there is still no feedback from PMB Department. I then called last week, the lady i spoke to, informed me that there is no response and there will not be any because last year the same department asked for histology and radiology report from the dr and they never received it, thus there is nothing they can do. But my question is why was I not informed and after waiting for a month then I am told this. I called the dr. myself and got the report within 20min, now I need to send it to GEMS and I am worried that it will take three months before they see it and provide a response. Hellopeter, please send a shoutout to GEMS to speed up my matter.
I attended a conference in Sandton from the 13 - 15 September 2023. I work for government and my accommodation during my stay in Joburg was City Lodge, Sandton. On arrival, 12 Sept 2023, the dinner took years to be delivered to our rooms. I got worried of the service. However, the staff that was working during that night was so friendly and they apologized. The rest of the stay was super perfect, the food and presentation was out of this world. To Lebo and his team at the dinning area or restaurant, you are the shinning stars. That hotel must be extremely proud to have a team like that. I truly enjoyed my stay, I am used to big brands hotels and the one I was doubting gave me a stay of a life time. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS, IT FELT LIKE HOME FAR FROM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!111

I got an iron at makro, the price was good. I always enjoy shopping in Makro, BLOEMFONTEIN. The service is very good and quick. The guys working at the gym equipment are super friendly and helpful. YOU ARE GREAT MAKRO, BLOEMFONTEIN!!!!!
Greetings to the Mr Price management. I visited Mr Price clothing at Waterfront in Bloemfontein. I was exchanging clothes and taking something different for my daughter. The lady who assisted me said i need to exchange with something worth the same amount because they cannot refund me with cash. The lady spoke to me as if she was addressing a teenager and I felt so undermined. Please note, I did not require any special treatment, but I just wanted professionalism. The same attitude you also get in Northridge, Mr Price clothing..... ladies there ....lol.... behave like they are in a ****a shop somewhere in the rural area. But I always keep my best cool because i think they deal too much with school kids thus they fail to distinguish between an adult client and young ones. Ay, management, please do something. Professionalism is good for any brand. Conduct, morals and ethical behavior of the staff must be a priority. My daughter loves clothes from Mr Price thus i am forced to visit the store, otherwise I wouldn't dare. To my surprise, go to Mr Price Home, staff there is always nice, professional and welcoming and you will find this in almost all the Mr Price Home Stores. yey, go to Mr Price clothing stores IN BLOEMFONTEIN... lol... ****a shops !!!!!!
I stayed at Protea hotel in Clarence, Free State on the 16 - 17 October 2022, Wow, what a great service and what a clean hotel. Its unfortunate that I went on business and could not bring my children along. The comfort I experienced and the treatment I received, wow!!!!!! The staff at the reception was super friendly, it was 2 ladies on my arrival in the afternoon and in the next morning it was 2 gentlemen, and they all gave me that warmth that any person would love to receive. The staff at the restaurant, so amazing. The cleaning lady at the parking area and the security officern seemed happy to be working there and I had a small talk with them and yooooo, it felt like "home far away from home". Thumbs up to the management. Regards
