On the 11th May on a Sunday night with 4 children in the car, I was stuck at the side of the road outside Villiers on my way from my sister's funeral in KZN to Gauteng. My car broke down and I called the roadside assist only to be told they don't work on Sundays. After waiting 4 hours on the road for a family member to come and tow me home, I lodged a claim. It's been a roller coaster ride since only to be told today by the Risk Management company that my claim has been rejected. Actual wording from Xola Fynn "these parts are not covered. I have rejected the claim. @Herbert Machebele, kindly do the Notify" Herbert Machabele called me after I posted on Hello Peter that I would never recommend First for Women and assured me that he was handling my claim and would keep me in the loop every step of the way in order to redeem First for Women. Unfortunately in true First for Women trend, he never responds to emails or calls. I lodged a complaint about the non existence of the roadside assistance First For Women proudly boasts about and was promised an investigation and response by yesterday, 3rd June by Laura Jacobs. Today is the 4th June. I mailed Laura (Internal Dispute Resolution Specialist haha what a joke!) and Suegnette (Brand Manager) this morning. My mails have been read but I'm obviously not important enough to get a response. I've cancelled my policy and will definitely spread the word about the appalling service and total disregard for female safety, contrary to their misleading advertising and what they feed the public! Thanks for absolutely nothing First for Women! Rather rebrand to NOT FOR WOMEN
I would like to commend Stash on the excellent service I received from her. Stash went over and above to assist me despite the awful, unprofessional non service from First for Women.
I purchased an electric nailer/stapler from Adendorff Edenvale last year and only needed to use it about 2 months ago. It stapled until the staples were finished. I went in and bought more staples, but the salesman sold me the wrong staples which resulted in the staples getting jammed in the machine. I took the machine back and Gilbert very patiently removed all the staples and cleaned and oiled the machine and gave me the correct staples. When I got home the machine refused to work again. I took it back and Gilbert again very patiently tested it and gave it back to me. This happened 3 times and unfortunately, the machine worked in the shop but when I got home, it wouldnt even come on. I would like to commend Gilbert on his excellent service but I would never recommend the electric nailer/stapler. I've bought all my tools from Adendorff in the past and this is the first time i've purchased something that just won't work. Unfortunately, I've wasted money as I can't get a refund as I don't have the box or the slip anymore. I'll just take this as a lesson learnt. Also, the online customer service is non existent. I logged a ticket #90663 on the 23rd April and to date have received no response other than the above ticket number.
Clayton was very professional, patient and knew exactly what I wanted. He solved my issue while I was on the phone and waited for his confirmation email to arrive before he ended the call
I would like to write a review about King Price Insurance I have been with King Price for about 4 years. In those 4 years I've had 2 claims. Both have been settled in record time and professionally. I would definitely recommend King Price. I had dealings with Pieter Kruger, Ompilela Nzima and Bernice Bosch Well done on an excellent brand!
