Addendoff Umbilo has got to be the worst place to shop at in South Africa The stuff is very rude and arrogant i sent an email telling them to use my customer code for tax purposes after i payed via eft and they completely ingnored it they wrote the wrong company name and did not assist when i called they put me on hold and i could hear Siya and his friends laughing and taunting me while i was on hold this is very unprofessional considering our company buys a lot of tools and machinery from them

Dear Adendorff Head Office, I would like to raise a concern regarding the service I received at the Adendorff Edenvale branch on Saturday, 14 March. I am bringing this to your attention as I believe the situation could have been handled in a far more professional manner. On the day, I visited the store to collect my battery charger machine that was in for repairs. While I was there, I found two sets of spanners on the shelf which I intended to purchase. When I took the items to the till, Thandeka asked Peter for assistance as the items were not appearing on the system. Peter then advised that the items had already been sold. However, he proceeded to take the spanners and place them in the delivery tray. I explained to Peter that I am a regular customer at the store and that I had taken the items directly from the shelf with the intention of purchasing them. I suggested that the store could sell the items to me and replenish the stock from another branch or head office. Unfortunately, Peter refused and stated that the items were reserved for another customer. I felt the situation could have been handled in a much more professional and customer focused manner. Instead, Peter’s response came across as abrupt and dismissive. When I tried to further discuss the matter, he walked away from the conversation. I then asked to speak with the manager and was informed that Jandray was busy at the back of the store. As I had already collected my repaired machine, I decided to leave the store without purchasing the tools. As a loyal customer of Adendorff and the owner of a tyre franchise store myself, I understand how important customer service is. I believe this situation could have been resolved differently, and unfortunately the experience left me feeling disappointed.

Adendorff VERY POOR SERVICE DELIVERY I sent my multifunction hydraulic Jack in for repairs to the Gazena branch for repairs to the switch after the jack stopped working in Deceember 2025. I sent them an e-mail with pics of the jack on the 09-12-2026 I recieved a reply on the 12-12-205 with ticket ID 100420 Subject Jack and then Nothing I contacted the Gazena branch as we now live in Bela Bela and I spoke to a gentleman called Conrad who said that I cou;d courier the jackth to them which I did using Courier Guy in Bela Bela Again I had to phone several times to find out what if anything was happening to my jack and was given a Refence No 06B 019139. The jack was sent to JHB Head off for the repair and I eventualy got a quote on the 19th of January via wattsapp for the amount R125-00 asking me if Iwanted to proceed I rep**** via wattsap instructing them to proceed and to include the cost to send the jack back to me via the Courier Guy here in Bela Bela. On the 26 of January I sent another wattaspp out to Adendorff as to when I could expect my machine to which I got a reply that it had been dispatched back to Gezina. I recieved a proforma invoice from chap named Nathen for an amount of R315-00 for the repair and delivery of my jack. I did an immediate payment on the 04-02-20206 I spoke to Nathen on Friday 06-02-2026 and told him I had done an immediate payment anf HE mentioned COURIER GUY by name in that conversation I phoned Nathen again on Wednesday 11-02-2026 as I still had not recieved my jack only to be told THEN that they ONLY use a company called MDS and that I should contact a lady called Melessa. I tried calling her but got no answer so I sent her a wattapp to which she rep**** the following day that a "3rd party" had tried to deliver it here on Monday the 9th and it had been rejected??? She said that my jack had been sent back to Nathan AT NO TIME DID ANYONE from Adendorff bother to phone ME in connection with my Jack. At no time did the driver from MDS or Melessa bother to phone me or my wife to say that they were at the gate with my Jack. Now Nathan EXPECTS me to pay AGAIN to have my jack collected by Courier Guy VERY ****ED OFF I was NOT INFORMED by NATHAN UNTIL yesterday that another company was going to be used despite it being We have lived here for over two years and NEVER had a parcel or delivery REFUSED.

So bored and annoyed by the Boksburg branch, there is no sense of urgency whatsoever! you have to wait ages for an emailed quote, and that's after you call them 5 million times for someone to reply... they always say they are busy with customers in store, then why have so many email addresses that they hardly attend to? can they at least hire someone to deal with technical sales because the sales guys can be very rude and its disheartening having to buy from them.

Dnt buy here in pmb adendorff, u might have to replace a part of the tool you bouth here and tye quickest responge they give u is "we dnt sell it" but they will sell u the main tool, but the other brances will sell u the part you are looking for not pmb adendorff no they to useless or lazy, who knows plus mangement most proberly uneducated asswell, i will never ever buy from any adendorff ever, if poor management starts there tyen poor director has nade tge choise for them to be there so this goes way back to head office, who ever runs pmb brance needs to be fired and replaced from head office all the way down to tiolwt cleaner, i bouth a R1300, 00 welding helmet from them after a while my outside shield took some where and tear, calling them they said they dnt sell it but they can sell me the helmet *** but they dnt say to me they can get it from there other branc cos they ***ingvkazy including the bald whiteguy, after swearing them a bit they woke up and told me they can get it from durban branch, so i took 6 due to the strugle of idiots at adendorff, now my screen broke half ain working, yet again they dnt sell it but head office in gauteng will send it down to asshole lazy ****s adendorff pmb, to my opinion if u dnt want to work ****off and give adendorff to new manegment and staff fire the whole lit present at at adendorff pmb, i called in last year about the iner screen and yet 1feb 2026 i had to go wake them up they employ a person behind the desk and say sorry his a new guy *** not my problem if he cant do his work right get someone who can. This is the sectime ive had **** withnpmb adendorff they need to close downnor new manment needs to be implimented starting from head office because these ****s give adendorff a bad name and reputation tgey all need to be dismissed bakdy white the bright soark today with his banaid ariund his arm and the managwr standing one side nit ooening his mouth but ket the staff sirt it oyt with me, mr bandage around his arm that oersin ddnt di a good job u need a coffin instead if that is the way hiw your shop can **** costumers over and dnt give a flying ****, then i can say to all adendorff your mesage thats says building a long relationship with clients will not consist if u have asshole uneducated prix like that running your store

These guys like selling machines but don’t like keeping spares for them. You phone the spares department and they cannot give you any info if the part has been ordered or when it will be back in stock.

Worst Customer service. The rule maker Ryan does not listen. We were told 10 % handling fee for a submersible pump returned the next day With all packaging as per service department who checked the pump Get to checkout and it’s now 20 % Sir Ryan says it’s his decision as packaging was wet. It was wet as his service department testing the pump put it back into packaging wet When asked where does it say anything about handling fee he said it says some hogwash about packaging not a handling fee When asked if that was in terms of the NATIONAL Credit Act he did not answer. He makes the decision. So sad that you get people like this in a position of power who does not listen. It’s not about the R200 rand but I have bought so much equipment over the years and obnoxious Ryan is on his little power trip. Will never see me in any of your stores and Beware of Adendorff Machinery Mart especially Springfield Durban branch.
