My insurance sent my car to Vanos Tech, they were friendly and professional from the beginning. They made sure that I got my car back in good working order. Their honesty, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile truly impressed me. I highly recommend them to anyone facing issues with your vehicle. This was in April 2025. I took my car back today and all that I can say is wow !!!!! I had been struggling with my AC for three years, trying to get it fixed without success. Three other workshops suspected it was the compressor and quoted me exorbitant amounts to replace it. When I reached out to Vanos Tech, they took the time to diagnose the issue thoroughly. Within just two hours, they identified the real problem and fixed it. I highly recommend them to anyone facing auto issues; they are trustworthy and genuinely care about their customers. Sorting out my lights doing electrical diagnostics. I wish I knew about them earlier in my life. These people care and are not just part fitters like most other shops, they find the problem and resolve it.

I took a car to Vanos Tech that I was wanting to purchase, just for them to check if it was a good buy. From the get-go, it was made very clear to me that I would be making a big mistake if I purchased the car, so I decided to pass on it. They proceeded to tell me that they had a Mercedes-Benz in their yard that they can sell me. I was advised that it was mechanically sound, had all the bells and whistles, blah, blah, blah. A few mechanical issues were sorted out, but after purchasing the vehicle for R150 000.00, the car kept cutting out in the middle of the road and the engine light kept coming on. They found that the auxi****y battery was not working and replaced that at their own cost. But, after going there for a number of weeks for the engine light, they kept running diagnostic tests on the vehicle and advised that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I have now paid R1000 for an independent company to run a diagnostic test for me and there are a whole string of things wrong with the vehicle, and that the vehicle had been in four accidents. When I took it up with David, he advised me that they are not a panelbeater, so he couldn’t advise me of that information. You’re not a car dealership either, yet you are selling cars!!! I am trying to get rid of this vehicle and I am getting offered between R30 000.00 and R65 000.00. Vanos Tech is avoiding all correspondence and not willing to assist in this matter.

I took a car to Vanos Tech that I was wanting to purchase, just for them to check if it was a good buy. Very bad experience. Poor Communication - They don't communicate well with regards to your cars progress. Their first line of communication is people that are clueless about what is happening with your car and when you have technical questions they can't answer and what is more surprising is that I tried to speak to the manager after I heard progress about my car that I am not happy about, I had to walk in the place to speak to the manager, I couldn't get the manager over the phone for two weeks till I went there myself. My car went there with a full tank and I have proved it to them and nothing was done about that I fetched my car there and the petrol was empty, My petrol has been tempered with. Kept my car for 2 months for a very minor issue. I am angry that Budget took my car to them. Also I don't know why they put someone there as first line communication to speak with the customers knowing very well that guy doesn't have the heart for it , You can't find me because I am asking question about my car and you automatically think I am fighting you. Very poor service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't even deserve a star at all. Take your car to them at your own risk. Don't even allow your insurance company to take it to them. My insurance took my car to this company, i got my car after 3 months. And I don't know what they were doing for 3 months cause the car its even damaged worse. It has a lot of scratches and dents that was not there before. I'm am very angry at this people. They scratched my rims. There's a whole lot of things that are not properly fitted back on my car. I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. Really ****ed off.

They don't even deserve a star at all. Take your car to them at your own risk. Don't even allow your insurance company to take it to them. Sensor light was affected, took it back in and waited, they fixed it. 2 says later it indicated low oil pressure sign. This means they have to open the engine for the 3rd time. Who will pay for the damage that has been done? I'm angry at Budget Insurance taking my car to Vanos Tech.

Worst service ever. Car overheated and was sent in for a engine overhaul. Got it back after 2 months and even a person with no car knowledge could tell that it was nowhere near fixed. Sent it back and Another 2 months later still without my car. Had to go through soooo much inconvenience such as having to Phone the week after week after week for updates and feedback since they don't bother to communicate. Having to deal with a vehicle rental company that wants their vehicle though i can't tell When i Will be able to give it back. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
