After complaining and writing a review in this platform, Miway Insurance send one automated email, followed by two phone calls asking if my issue was resolved or not. I was told on both occasions that the matter was escalated, but NO real action or conversation with regards to the history of my claim, what transpired and any resolve from their side. I am struggling without transport and told to fetch my vehicle with no bumper on, repairs not done,because that will alleviate my struggling to get around. Thus after paying every single month. I can't wait for this matter to reach a conclusion to take my hard earned money somewhere else.
I am a client of Miway Insurance, paying R1900pm. I was involved in an accident with my car on 18th October 2022. My car was taken direct from the scene to the repairer and my claim approved within 2 days. Since then I have been told many different stories of how far the repairs are and the lies just continued every single time I phoned to enquire about the progress of the repairs, I am being told a different story from the previous call. The assessor told me to take my car in that damaged state until the repair shop has all the parts to complete the job...driving for an unknown period with a damaged car as if I am not a paying client. Yesterday the assessor told me I must remember my car is not a popular car and that parts are not easily available, yet my monthly premiums are collected by Miway every month. This is service levels at it worse and I would not recommend Miway to anybody,given my experience when it mattered most, they are one huge disappointment.
We booked fora couples spa & stay at the hotel in May 2022. Spa experience was not good at all and I complained about the cold air in the massage rooms to the staff and submitted a written complaint. The milk in our room was off. I received a call from a lady to apologise, but making it off as if it is nothing and weak excuses offered. Nothing else. Not even a free coffee at the restaurant to somehow show that every client is important. To date, we had not a single word from Mangwanani Spa. I would not recommend the hotel or the spa facility !
