I have been searching for an occasional chair for the last few weeks and came across a chair I like on Leather Gallery's website. The item was a Moroccan Sun Julia chair advertised at R6999 on promotion. I decided to go to a branch to look at the chair and here is where it got interesting so I will note a number of points in my review: 1: When I asked the salesperson at the Boksburg branch how long it would take for delivery (usually furniture shops take 7 - 14 days to deliver) I was told that the promotion is for the chair on the floor. So that means if I bought online without going to the shop, I would have expected a brand-new chair, not one that was a demo unit that has been sitting on a floor, that was sampled by customers, possible been swapped out between branches, but in actual fact received demo stock from a floor. This is all good and well if it is a demo clearance but its not, it is advertised as normal promotion. 2: Next, the actual promotion price on the website shows that it was R10300 and discounted by 33% to a mere R6999. What does not make sense is all other colors (not on promotion) are selling at full prices of between R7250 and R8000. So, I queried that and get told that its the color. I now guess the color yellow is linked to the price of gold. I raised this via there online chat and they said its an end of range sale. I then contacted head office and was told the same but they added there is a disclaimer on the website that speaks to errors. Great, so the point is, if you ever plan to buy from them, dont assume you are getting new furniture, expect the worst so that you are not disappointed. As a parting note, I did mention to them that I do not have a problem with demo items or buying them as long as I know. My problem is deceiving clients online to make them believe they are buying brand new furniture when they are not. If they offered demo clearance or end of range at a discounted amount it would have been fine. (A real discount though, not one that claims yellow is as expensive as gold showing inflated original prices that doesnt make sense)

I have been hitting a brick wall since 14 September 2016 to cash out a unit trust. At first they claimed my signature doesnt matched however I even provided a previous withdrawel form on which they paid out a large amount of cash without having problems with my signature. I raised my concern about that as in my opinion why can you pay out one day and the next day refuse to pay out claiming the signature is wrong when it is not. Eventually I logged a complain and was told that they are busy resolving the issue and requested further signature specimens from me which I gave them. (28 Sept) I spoke to Ingrid Naidoo and was told once they have my signatures they will arange payout which should have been in my account by Friday 30 Sept. No call, no email has been received and still no money. It is amazing how one has to beg to get your owwn money back after investing with Stanlib. I will enssure that all family and friends are warned about the lack of service and also that they do not consider complaints as a problem on service delivery

Tanya quoted me R1625 for a service over the phone. Upon arrival i was told its now R2700. I queried it and Tanya tried to deny it with a crap attitude as if i was a liar. I advised her i have a recording of the call and she said shed like to hear it. As if im lying. Bottom line i left. Wont let them treat me like rubish or a liar. After that i received 2 calls of which one was from Tanya. I said in both calls i would like to speak to the DP. Its now 4 hours later and stil no call. Shows you what they think of their customers. To anyone looking at buying an audi pls stay away. Service from both east rand and bruma audi is horrific and you will regret buying that audi as soon as it breaks. Trust me if you driving a auto it will break.
I was contacted telephonically regarding a R400 challenge to beat my current CAR INSURANCE. I was told they will try and beat my CAR INSURANCE like for like and if they fail I will be paid R400. I went along with the call and received a quote via email which was for more than what I am paying currently so I sent them a schedule indicating my current premium. Now instead of a) beating the new premium or b) paying me R400 they have stories. Now they claim they need to quote based on all my Insurance (Household content, car, all risk etc) NEVER was that mentioned in the initial call yet now that it is time to cough up they have stories. So I made them aware I will go public to let all know it is a scam and that I need the v/rec. I was told they will send it that same day. Still has not been sent to me. I logged a complaint on their website and received a call from a lady yesterday but I was in a meeting so I asked her to call me back in 30 min. She called back 24hrs later and when I asked if this is 30 min she tried making me a liar saying she called and I didn't answer. Would you like my call records? Please prove you called.... So to the world... STEER CLEAR OF THE MIWAY SCAM!!!
My experience with Autopage has been bad since I got my upgrade on my contract 2 years ago. But now that my contract has expired I felt its jst better to switch to prepaid in order to have no dealings with Autopage. During the last 2 or 3 months there has been 2 to 3 calls a week to my cell offering me an upgrade and I keep telling them that I want to go to prepaid but no one wants to assist. I have sent emails to their customer care and I get a response that my request was closed but no one contacted me. I have called their customer care to switch to prepaid and I get transferred and the phone then just rings. At one stage the phone rang for close to 1 hour without being answered. I would recomend that anyone interested in a contract stay well clear of this company as they will make your life a missery when your contract is over!!!! They just want your money. No service at all.
