I would like to compliment the team at Whale Coast Mall, what am incredible team you guys have created. Friendly and so helpful. I love going in there. Thanks, you again for all your hard work and dedication
I live in Herm**** in Western Cape - I went into your Mr. Price Sport Store, where I have been to before and spent money there before. Firstly I was in the store for a long time looking for sizes - there was a young man behind the desk busy on the computer and a lady walking around but ignoring me but very busy with something still not sure what she was doing - I was the only client in the shop, I finally went over to the desk with an armful of clothing - I asked if they had a bigger size - the man looked up and said if it's not on the shelf we don't have, I then asked if he had the same style somewhere else he then asked the girl who shrugged and walked over to another shelf pointed and walked away. I told them that I thought that their service was shocking I put down everything that I was going to take estimated R3k sale retaining a few items value R850 paid and left. We have an unemployment rate in this country that is scary, but we choose to employ people who do not give a ****. I will not be back to this shop it was disgraceful. They should get some training from Whitehouse staff who would teach them not only how to sell but also how to treat their clients. My experience was shocking and disgraceful - really upset my day what a horrible experience
Car Care Clinic Fish Hoek - if I could give them, I negative review I would. I wish I had read the reviews prior to me taking my car to them for a service as from what I can see they should not have RMI approval at all. I took my car in for a service, which according to flyers that they hand out R995 for a service. I then receive a call from Zee (the receptionist) she rattles off a series of issues with my car and says total cost R14k. This I was not expecting and really could not afford, she says okay and puts the phone down, I get there later, and i ask about the other issues on the vehicle and what the consequences could be - this information was not volunteered to me, head gasket / windscreen wipers / oil leak / timing chain - I get told that the car would just stop working - a little concerned I get given my keys and pay the service of R2500, anyway I leave drive home, next day I am coming home from work at 19h00 at night over Silvermine - hectic mountain pass, my car makes a noise and engine switches off - not only that I have NO brakes at all - I have nowhere to pull over except to drive over the mountain or use my hand brake to try and get my vehicle to stop, I finally manage to find a place where I can pull over yanking up my handbrake to stop my car. It is now 19h30 at night (I am a single older lady) and I have to have a car towed to my home R 1300, the next day I call car care and have my car towed to them at another cost of R850 - apologies they did not know that my ABS brakes would stop working if my engine stopped working. Anyway, now the Quotation forR14k is no longer valid as the timing chain has literally caused severe engine damage - not only that I will not have a car for another 3 weeks - The service which was meant to be less that R 995 as per flyer is now costing me R24k - I do not have a car and my life was put in terrible danger. I have since then been informed that Car Care should not have let me leave knowing that I had to replace my timing chain - in fact the entire service that was done was completely useless. If Zee or the manager had sat me down and told me what I could have done to my engine I would have made a plan to loan the money - now I have had to cash in a retirement annuity to pay for my car - but for me it goes deeper - I could have killed myself or others with my brakes not working because of this - what has happened to humankind that there is no longer any humility. For me this experience has brought me nothing but sadness. I sat without a car for 3 weeks, I paid the full amount of R24k, and then when I went to collect my vehicle they refused to release until monies reflected in their account - the POP or message from Discovery was not enough. My integrity was being questioned; what kind of people treat others this way. This entire situation could have been avoided if human kindness had been shown. To date i have not received a call from Car Care Clinic Head Office or even a follow up call. To add insult to injury my car radio has not worked since I collected the vehicle but the thought of going back there is something that I would not ever consider. What a horrible franchise group - I will never deal with them again and I would warn everyone against them. I do believe that their RMI rating should be taken away - they are an embarrassment to the brand as well as to humankind.
I am so irritated with WesBank. I have had finance with them for over 5 years, I then call and request a settlement figure, this i pay and am so excited that 5 years later i am free of this monthly overhead. A week later I call WesBank to hear what happens now as I have not heard a word from them. I then get told that I am to yet again pay another R 360.00 to them, send proof of payment with clear PDF copies of my ID to them, only once this is done will ownership papers be sent to me, this could take up to 2 weeks. My issue is not the added payment it's the attitude - I had to call them - not a thank you for the last 5 years or over R200k that we have made from you - just a pay more send more and we will then send papers to you. I am so tired of these companies who are more than happy to take your money but do nothing afterwards to even thank you or make the last part of your journey a pleasant one. My journey with WesBank is one that will never be renewed.
Storage King - Brackenfell Cape Town Cindy and Akhona where just incredible from the moment i started working with them. The guys who came to collect my furniture where great, on time and efficient. I would use this company without a single reservation - it was a pleasure doing business with you.
I have just recently moved to Simonstown and have chosen Harbour Bay Mall as my shopping centre as the Woolworths there is just incredible. Anyway on the 23 Oct I walked into Harbour Bay Cellular with my Samsung S6 Lite Tablet that was not turning on, the gentleman behind the counter informed me that they would need to open up the device to see what the problem was, he then took down my number and said he would call me back within the hour. I left a little reluctantly as he had not given me any paperwork confirming that he had my tablet. Well about an hour later i receive a call to inform me that i needed to replace the battery and this was going to cost me R 2700.00 i told him i could not afford this - he then said that they could put in the chinese battery for R 2500.00 - to this i said i could not afford either of these transactions and that i would just have to wait to have it fixed. He then said that the tablet was open and that they would have to charge me to close it and reopen it again to fix it and I should leave it there until I had the money to fix it. At this point I am beside myself as I have no proof that he has my tablet and I am now aware that he will not release this to me until I have paid for the new battery. On the morning of the 24th October at 09h30 I decided to go into the store and collect my Tablet as I have no other recourse, I took out my Credit Card to pay and he refuses to accept this kind of payment and instructs me that he will only take cash, i then leave the store so upset and unsure of what to do - If you have camera's you will see me go into the shop, leave walk into pick n pay and then go over to the Capitec ATM Machine / I had on a brown dress with dark hair / you will also see from my demeanour how unhappy i am) I go to the ATM withdraw the cash - i go back into the store he counts the cash and hands me the tablet - for this transaction i receive NO paperwork at all (No invoice, receipt or old battery / let alone warranty on a new battery) - he does not give me the old battery to prove that he has even changed the battery - i now leave without any proof that this tablet was repaired by them - so should i encounter any issues i have no recourse at all - but this is not the worst part - i have subsequently googled cost of a new battery and the price is R 450.00. I am not a wealthy woman who at the age of 55 is still working really hard to survive so this little trip has cost me dearly. I have written a review on the Harbour Bay Mall site as I am sure that these people would never admit to this transaction or even reimburse me, but I thought that as Landlords you should be aware of the kind of tenants that you have in your mall. I am truly devastated at what has happened to me although I do accept that I should have put up a fight and not given my tablet to him in the 1st place. What a terrible situation to be in and I do believe that this man will do the same to all ladies who walk into his shop.
Isable Janse Van Vuuren the previous Director of Alpha Metering Pty Ltd signed over her business to her sister Linda Pea**** who is not the Director of Alpha Metering. I recently discovered that Isabel Janse Van Vuuren has been putting charges through my credit card without my knowledge or authorization. I will be laying a charge against her for fraud. To everyone out there working with Alpha Metering Pty Ltd please be careful.
If i could rate a 0 i would. I have a Blue Bean Credit Card, in April i contacted Standard to ask them that i receive monthly statements as i was worried about the account. This card i keep for emergencies so i do not often use it. I ask for 5 months worth of statements so i could check the account. This never happened, finally in June i received the June statement where i had been charged for Statements that i had not received. To my shock and horror i noticed just in the month of June over R1000.00 worth of charges had taken place that did not belong to me. I immediately contacted the fraud department and asked for previous months statements and also advised them as to who i thought may have been using my card without my knowledge. To date i have sent over 50 emails to various departments begging for my statements as well as sending information of transactions which did not belong to me, i also established that Isabel Janse Van Vuuren from Alpha Metering Pty Ltd was the person using my card for Apple Store purchases, i attached her ID document so that they had her details to confirm these transactions where done by her without my knowledge. I have cancelled the card, gone into the bank who wanted to again charge me for a service that i had not received. I have not heard from the Fraud Department even though i have sent them numerous emails, i have called them too, i was kept on the line for over 10 mins then the call was dropped. I have never in my life had to deal with such bad customer service. I will be cancelling my Credit Card and laying charges against Isabel Janse Van Vuuren for fraud.
