One of the best decisions I made in my home was fitting solar…my days of load shedding, and having dinner in the dark are over. Versofy offers a top-tier quality setup at an affordable rate. Their after sales service is excellent, and they respond almost immediately. I would highly recommend using Versofy is you want to lease an affordable solar setup for your home. My savings on prepaid electricity (as a result of solar) pays for 50% of my Versofy lease, which is a bargain to get rid of the inconvenience of load shedding
I have been using Luno for many years, as an on-ramp to invest in crypto. I don’t use the app often as it’s a passive savings strategy. I missed an in-app message about new KYC, and my account was frozen. The KYC which was more vigorous than any other KYC process I have had to endure: asking for 3 months banks statements, payslips, a selfie holding a ID document, etc. This felt quite invasive, and left me extremely frustrated that I was not able to access my savings which I have been accumulating over years. Crypto is supposed to be a means for consumers to take more ownership of their money; but this ability to just lock my account without good reason is unacceptable. For context, I already KYC’d my account when I opened it a few years back. Now I cannot access my funds. Apparently it will take 5 business days for them to get back to me. What if I urgently needed access to my savings? What’s worst is you can’t get hold of anyone telephonically. You have to send a message to a chatbot and hope for the best. Really unacceptable…
I recently bought the 49 inch Hisense Smart TV. The picture and sound quality is good, but this is a poorly manufactured product. After just 3 months, my LCD broke. Given that it is under a 2 year warranty, I tried getting hold of Hisense SA to help with this issue, but kept hitting a brick wall - their staff do not answer phone calls, and reply with 1 liner emails. I Googled the address of the repair centre in Cape Town to get advice from a technician, and was met by the rudest employee who didnt want to give me the time of day. When I eventually convinced him to check out the TV, he said "I cant help. Just go buy a other TV rather, we don't cover LCDs because its very sensitive" I will never buy a Hisense product again in my life. My advice to all prospecting buyers is to rather spend a bit more and go for a premium brand like Samsung; which I had for 6 years (Tv, Fridge, Microwave) with not a single defect or issue.
<div>In March 2019, I wanted to renovate my family home and was approached by H20 Construction who received information about my project via the Dial-A-Contractor network. Initially, my dealings with the company were professional, however as soon as I paid over a large deposit, everything went downhill from there. The work ethic of the team is pathetic to say the least. They would arrive on site very late, often after 10am, and only stay for 3 - 4 hours at a time. Some days they would just not show up at all. While on site, very little would get done because the materials were never delivered on time. At one stage in the project, the builders would show up without tools or materials and literally take a nap in my back yard. I tried to rectify the situation with ****, but my complaints fell on deaf ears, and were constantly met with lies and false promises. After months of frustration, and paying over R200 000 to ****, I had nothing to show except the fact that my pool was destroyed and yard was turned into a demolition site. What made matters worst is that I was not alone in this experience, and there were at least 5 other clients who paid large sums of money and still waiting on **** and team to fulfill their promise. In the end, I was forced to cancel my contract and pursue legal action. I am sharing this story as a warning to others, as I would not want anyone else to experience the personal and financial losses that my family needed to endure as a result of appointing H20 Group Pty Ltd for our renovation </div>
In March 2019, I wanted to renovate my family home, and was approached by Dustin Permall from H20 Group Pty Ltd; who received information about my project via the Dial-a-Contractor network. My initial dealings with Dustin was quite professional, however as soon as I paid over a deposit....everything went downhill from there. The builders would not come to site, for sometimes days at a time. They would come on a Monday from 11am until 3pm, and then only return the following Monday. Even when on site, they were unproductive due to no building materials being delivered; despite me paying over R200 000 for supplies and roofing, these never arrived on site. After months of this unprofessional behavior, I cancelled my building contract with H20 Group. I have since learnt of numerous other clients, who have experienced similar mistreatment by Dustin and have lost their life savings by using this company DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE

<div>Be careful of this website, it is the hunting grounds for many conmen. After looking for sometime for a reliable contractor to do my renovation, I tried dial a contractor. This is verbatim from their website "Our members are progressive, dynamic and professional who with the support of Dial a Contractor's systems and networks, offer an experience that is just not possible with other companies" Based on this, I assumed that some vetting was done. However, this is not the case. They connected me with H20 group who has conned me out of more than R200 000. I called Dial a contractor, to lay my complaint and share my story - as I was one of at least 3 clients conned by them, who also got referred by Dial a Contractor. I spoke to Richard, who said that he was aware of another client who had a similar complaint, and he requested that I "put everything in writing" so that they could persue legal action. To date, nothing has happened - not even a follow up phone call. H20 group probably still uses this site as a hunting ground for new clients to steal from. DO NOT USE THIS SITE </div>
BEWARE of this company, and its director Dustin Permall. I am one of many clients, who was conned out of R200 000. There pre sales pitch is impressive, and they will do some pro bono work to win your trust. However, once they have conned you out of a large deposit - Dustin and his team will run off into the sunset I was made to believe that the deposit I was paying, was for a "rib and block" slab which the company had ordered and paid for. Dustin sent me videos from the factory of these pre-casted slabs, and requested that I refund him for the purchase of this. However, this was all a lie. After I made this payment, the team stopped coming to site. When I would complain, 2 or 3 would make a guest appearance but not do any work. Sometimes they would show up at 11am and leave at 2pm again. After many months of non delivery, I started to get suspicious and made contact with the supplier of the rib and block slab, to enquire about my order. To my horror, there was no such order for me; and I was informed that I was not the first client to approach them about such a matter regarding H20 Group and Dustin. When I confronted Dustin, he told me all sorts of lies. I have been trying to get an explanation for more than a month now. My project started in April 2019, 8 months later and I have absolutely nothing to show for the money spent. I have come to learn of 3 other clients, in a similar situation to me who was also conned out of their hard earned money. DO NOT do business with H20 GROUP PTY LTD, as you will lose your money and be stuck in legal battles with these conmen
