<p>I recently traded in my 1050 for a used 1190. The experience has been such an awesome adventure (excuse the pun), RAD offered me a good trade in on the 1050, and assisted me with the finance through my bank of choice, and assisted me in transferring the after-market extras that I had added to my 1050 to the 1190, without a hassle.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to give a big shout out to all the RAD staff and thank them for all they have done for me. Morne, Mark, Shaun, Andries, Heather, Pixi, and the rest of the workshop team (sure I have missed a few). </p> <p> </p> <p>Your service ethos is commendable; Keep up the great work guys!!</p>

Pathetic Customer Service
<p>I have tried to finance another motorcycle through Wesbank. My initial deal with them for the motorcycle I am trading is at prime. The new deal they now want to offer me prime +1.74%. Here's the joke. My ITC score is near damn perfquoted is higher than my inital deal. This after I have tried several times to call their customer service hotline, and have left messages both with them and the dealership, for someone to call me back. Or I am transfered to the Leisure Finance Division, where no one answers the phone. </p> <p> </p> <p>All I have got from Wesbank has been excuses, and NO VALID reason for the higher interest rate. The variance in rate increases the total amount to be paid back by R9000. They say the shorter the term (as I am now doing 60 months versus 72), the higher the interest rate?? That is counter intutive, as the interest rate charged lieved should only increase to mitigate the risk. Given my track record and profile, and the fact that I wish to pay the motorcycle off over a shorter period, I can only assume that the real reason for the higher rate, is that Wesbank want to make a specific amount off the deal (i.e. to profit more).</p> <p> </p> <p>I am most disappointed in the service and the expereince with Wesbank. No doubt that this is the last vehicle I will finance with them. I have never paid above prime on any deal, bar the first car I bought some 20 years back. Wesbank had the chance to have a customer for life. But their greed, has cost them a risk free vehicle sale. But who am I, only one customer of many, so I am sure they wont care.</p>
