I recently bought a table saw from ryobishop.co.za. At the time I had no idea it was Brand Hubb was the actual seller. I received my order without any problem but soon came to find it was defective, the saw would not stay on and I suspect a faulty switch. I initially contacted Ryobi who very quickly informed me that I should be dealing with Brand Hubb. At that point I emailed Brand Hubb support asking for help and heard nothing for the next few days. I then called in and a lady told me that I should email in. I told her I already did and after a little while she found my email and told me that it has been escalated. Two more days day go by still nothing and no response to my email. It has been more than a week and I have not heard a single thing from Brand Hubb. Starting to think I got ****med. Should have spent a little more money with a reputable company.
When we decided to go with Nexsolar it was because they were quick to respond to our quote request and their sales team were on the ball. We also decided to purchase their in-house batteries brocade they were a little cheaper and had the same 5 year warranty. A few months after installation we started experiencing some issues with the power going out during load shedding. I then noticed that the power would cut out even though the batteries had a 24% state of charge, according to the system. I then contacted Nexsolar for advice on their dedicated WhatsApp help line - to which I only got a response two weeks later. I also tried calling and was told that their wasn’t someone around to assist at the moment and I should email. I emailed and then only got a response almost a week later to say they were looking into it and they’d send me a report with their findings. Two weeks later and my follow up email goes without response and I’m still waiting for the report. Seems like their batteries may may not be as great as they say they are and their after sales service certainly isn’t.
I have been trying to cancel my month to month contract with Supersonic for over 3 weeks now. I have left logged multiple tickets, the first ones took over a week for them to respond and then they just closed them saying they have escalated to their cancellation department. That was a few days ago and I still have not heard from them.
