They are fast in processing withdrawals and claims. I have been with Clientele for more than 10 years and they are continuously improving their processes.
I am having Scratch &Dent insurance with Miway, which includes tyre and rim. This month I had two tyre and rim accidents and claimed twice. Miway didn't disappoint me.
I have been having an investment policy with Clientele since 2015 and have done a number of withdrawals without any struggle. Also, my father had funeral cover with Clientele, when he passed on in 2021, the claiming process was so fast
Good day On 30 December 2023 I visited a branch to request for a withdrawal from my investment policy. A week after I received a message requesting me to submit tax residency form. I therefore went to the branch where I was assisted to complete, scan and email form to the claims department, but when the form was sent the last page was missed. The following week I requested a message still requesting for the tax residency. On 15 January 2024, I went to Springs Branch for the 3rd time now, they found that the form they sent was having page 3 missing. I completed the form again On 19 January 2024 I called Old Mutual customer care. I was told they have received the latest complete tax residency form and it will will escalated for review and was advised to call for a follow-up on 22 January 2024. On 22 January a consultant i spoke to said the system is still showing that I need to submit tax residency form. I told him that the consultant I spoke to on Friday said Old Mutual has received an updated form. I was asked to hold the line till the call dropped-off, later i received an sms saying payment will be process within 3 -5 days
On 6the April our car was towed by Miway to Sleeqauto to fix the suspension and wheel damage. Since then, the car has been collected an returned to Sleeqauto twice. The last time the car was returned was on 9 June and since then i haven't got an update from either Miway nor Sleeqauto. It is now close to 3 months and am so frustrated and feeling that Miway hasn't been supportive enough to follow up with with Sleeqauto of which they decided to take the car to.
I am very disappointed by the Sleeqauto service. Our car hit a pothole on the 1 April 2023, as the result the suspension and front RHS wheel were damaged. The car was towed by insurance to them on 6 May 2023. When we picked the car after repairs we noticed that the sides were not at level and the car was vibrating when started and in motion and we decided to return the car. As from 06 April 2023 till today (20 June 2023) the car has been returned to Sleeqauto twice to fix the same problem. The last time the car was returned was on 9th June and since then, haven't heard from Sleeqauto.
The claiming process was completed sooner than I expected
