Something has to be done about the modus operandi of Jet stores,because quite frankly,they are committing *****. I have the same stressful experience that many of Jet customers are enduring. (unauthorized charges,passing the buck,*********** staff,threatening letters) My account was never in arrears,and most months I actually paid double the amount due. I had notified them that I refuse to pay my account until they fix up their mess,but to no avail. All they done was sent me from pillar to post. I have lost count of the many telephone calls and emails I sent,to notify them of items that I did not authorize. They do not rectify their wrong doing,but instead referred me to other departments,which in turn referred me back to them It is ****-UP! It is a disgrace and a shame that they are allowed to exploit citizens of S.A. I am going to close my account(I will make sure that I get a final settlement figure),and NEVER use them again. Maybe that is what the rest of the customers should do,and then they WONT have any business,and the ****** will have to close doors.!! I hope that someone in the legal profession can look into this blatant daylight *******!!!!
Remax town and country,based on the west rand. I have been trying to resolve certain issues with them since I took occupation, but jeez,they are dismissive and just dont care. Their customer-care division has the same attitude. I cancelled my contract with them,due their misrepresentation of facts,and the refusal to attend to health and safety issues. They owed me money,but instead they sent me letters of demand and threats. After four months,I reconciled the account(it's their job),they eventually admitted that they owe me. But they short paid me by R2000,because they did not charge the new tenant the municipalty fees. This is fraud,and I wonder howmany tenants are falling victim to this kind of practice.
I should of done an online review before I rented the property from them and I would have been spared the stress and inconvenience. Really appalling ! They absolve themselves from responsibility.. They do not provide feedback nor do they reply to emails They lie and bull**** They gave the house a cosmetic makeover,instead of fixing the important issues which I had reported. I had to fix and replace items at my expense. They did not apply for a permit from the municipality to allow working from the premises,nor did they consult the neighbors. There is no annexure is the lease pertaining to this,even although I had told her from the day of viewing of my work intention. She had promised it will be sorted..still not done 5 months later. The client services is no help at all....I basically got told to sort it out myself. RHT is of no help either,and as a middle class working 59 year old,I cannot afford litigation costs. I just find almost unbelievable that a big company like REMAX can resort to such low level tactics. I sincerely hope that someone who reads this article is able to assist or provide some legal advice on this matter
They do NOT even deserve ONE star! ATROCIOUS service! Jeez,what a bunch of incompetent people,with a "dont care" attitude.(NADIA and CONNIE SNYMAN). When we met for the key handover,I wanted to cancel the lease that minute,because the property was definitely not ready for occupation. But I had already paid the R450 plus the deposit and signed the lease. (march 2022) It has been a nightmare ever since,and reporting problems goes unanswered,or they try to shift their responsibility onto me. They have a seriously pathetic attitude towards their tenants(judging from what I read),as long as they get the rent on time...they are happy and to hell with rest!
