I was trying to make an enquiry regarding a townhouse for rent in the Sunninghill area. The agent with whom I spoke, refused to give me any answers, nor his name, until I had provided my ID number. In this day and age of identity theft, one doesn't hand out one's ID to all and sundry. Told me it was the law for FICA. I am not sure this is the case. This is all before I had even viewed a property, let alone made an application. For sure, if this is the way this agent treats potential clients, he can't be doing very well Shocking experience with Showday Properties!!!

Returns Policy
On two occasions I have purchased from Amazon South Africa, and on both occasions, the items have stopped working within 3-5 months. Airfryer literally blew up after 3 months, not able to return it. Hoover vacuum cleaner purchased in September 2025, just stopped working! No longer eligible for return. Return policy absolutely the worst. WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM AMAZON WITH RETURNS POLICY ONLY VALID FOR 1 MONTH!!! SHOCKING!!!

My Family Cinema is a no-no!
On 9.03.25 I tried to take up the 7 day free trial advertised by My Family Cinema. This did not prove successful and I had to pay the month's subscription in order to download onto my laptop. This was a mission impossible, as my laptop is underpowered and does not support this site. I emailed the support centre and asked for help, which was/is not forthcoming, and then asked for a refund of my subscription. Well, that's also a mission impossible, as I keep getting a reply saying they are looking into the matter.! As of today, 24.03.25 there is no refund or help! I would steer clear of My Family Cinema! All I want is a refund! Not difficult!!!
