I recently ordered sprouting seeds, I also wanted to buy a small piece of jar netting for my sprouting venture but they didnt list this as an individual product I could purchase, so I took a chance and asked for a small cutting in the NOTES section. They listened and included it in my parcel. <3 what a LOVELY company, The delivery was also super fast! I WOULD REFER EVERYONE TO UMUTHI BOTANICALS, Excellent service, the company went an extra mile for me and I am thankful, something so small, means so much! Well done team!
Wow, what an experience. Who isn’t skeptical when buying second hand devices online with all the ****s going around? Rest assured Epic Deals will eliminate all that doubts and fears. I bought my Iphone from then on the 24th, considering all the public holidays, I received the device on the 29th! Much quicker than I had anticipated! When I unboxed the phone, everything was better than described. I couldn’t be more pleased and I will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks Diana for your awesome service and communication. You’ve been a star. And for Katlego for the cute card. Thanks to the rest of the team for making everything happen so smooth and effortlessly!
I want to start off this review by saying I have supported Kalahari before it Takealot. (that's been a while) I have continued supporting Takealot through all the years till now, the straw that broke the camels back. Over the holidays, I ordered covers, cases and screen protectors for my new Iphone. I planned so my phone(ordered on a different supplier) and the Takealot order would be delivered SAME DAY (28 December 2023) so I wouldn't have to leave my new phone unprotected. The phone came on the 28th, and Takealot - a no show. I HAD TO REACH OUT, because Takealot customer service is non existent only to eventually receive an automated reply that my order will unfortunately only now come on the 29th. I lost my temper a bit, as this is the second time in a row Takealot has failed to deliver on time and now, I had to have a very expensive phone without any protection. If I knew this prior, I would have bought elsewhere as Takealot is so unreliable nowadays anyways. My order finally came on the 29th - both screen protectors - cracked. I immediately logged a return and REPLACEMENT. At this point I was so irritated because now, the whole process was being dragged out now, and I had to sort out their incompetency. I spoke to numerous Takealot agents(Tamara.M , Sizakele.M & Babalwa) and none of them have been useful. I asked to speak to the manager on duty as I knew they were probably skeleton staffed as none of these agents were handling the situation in a sincere manor, all I got was these "automated" "we are so sorry for any inconvenience caused" bull**** replies. I logged into my Takealot account, saw a small credit only for the cracked screen protectors & if you shop on Takealot a lot, you'll know that above R500 is free delivery. If I where to re-order the same protectors I'd have to pay for delivery again, for a mistake that wasn't even my fault & I clearly stated, "REPLACEMENT OF PRODUCT" not credit my Takealot account. Continued chatting to these amazing agents, one of the agents assisting me at that time, said they would arrange a replacement to which I responded immediately and asked to select my work address under the address on Takealot as I am NO LONGER AT HOME AND WILL BE RETURNING TO WORK ON THE 08th of January 2024. This conversation mentioned above was held on the 07th of January. Fast forward to the next day January 8th, I receive an automated email that my order was created and will be delivered by the 10th of January 2024 (these people after ****ing up left right and center cant even do priority delivery for the shlep they created, wow!) only to see that my address has not been updated, It is set to be delivered to my home address after I had a clear discussion with Takealot. After the order was created, I got an email from Babalwa saying "it's too late and the delivery address can't be changed now" - SO whose fault is this? As far as my knowledge and IQ goes, I spoke to an agent the day before the order was even created. A day later they still managed to **** it up. I AM OVER THIS USELESS COMPANY. They are focusing on what feels like mass production, less that customer satisfaction. If they keep on like this, they might not have such a bright future. Horrible experience, I have given them chances, time and time again and this was the last time. Their quality of products has deteriorated, their quality of service is bull****, their morals and ethics has gone out the window. Why would you spend your hard earned money at this company? There is places out there who are smaller companies, and prosper for great client service. Makes no sense why people would continue religiously supporting Takealot. CHEERS TAKEALOT, it has been AWFUL.
I placed my order on the 12th of July and the expected delivery date was for the 19th of July(yesterday) - short story the customer service @ Game is pathetic. I have not received my order,I have not received an update or feedback on any of my emails sent in the past 3 working days. They just cancelled one of the products on my list without explination - I found out it was as it was out of stock. No communication from Game's side. They couldn't care less about customer service. I am pretty irritated with this whole situation as I ensured to place my order more than a week ago to ensure I receive it before the 20th. Game couldn't care about the delivery date. It's a nightmare - I wouldnt use their services again even if someone paid me to. I would also not reccomend Game to anyone - not worth the frustration and the energy. There are much better stores to shop at that actually has customer service.
