I dealt with Lizo Mavuma who was extremely helpful and efficient.
The WiFi at the complex I reside at has been down due to an issue with vumatel for three days now. We were told Vumatel were working on the problem three days ago and yet we still don’t have any internet connection.
I have been trying to make contact with Dr van Zyl's rooms to set up an appointment for approximately four to five weeks now. When I call, a message tells me the lines are busy but then I am unable to leave a message as the mailbox is full. I have contacted their Benoni rooms who advised that only the Vanderbijlpark rooms can make the appointments. I advised the Benoni rooms of the issue, and the lady kindly sent a private message to the receptionist in Vanderbijlpark to contact me. This has been on two occasions and to date I have heard nothing.
Complaint regarding refund My complaint is regarding a refund that they have not paid me. I was in their casualty department on the 17th September 2024. I paid an amount of R1500.00 in order for them to accept me at the hospital. They submitted the claim to my medical aid (GEMS) who then refunded the hospital and not me (don't understand why). After making enquiries with the Medical Aid I was eventually told I had to claim the money back from the hospital. I contacted the hospital and was told that they do have the money and would send me a refund form to complete which I did, and returned the completed document together with supporting documents to them. I phoned to confirm they had received said documents. This was on the 7th November 2024. I was told that the money would be paid to me within 7 to 10 working days. To date, I still have not received the money. I contacted them twice since then, and am now absolutely fed up. I have other expenses and R1500.00 is owed to me and this money has been sitting in the hospital's account for weeks now.

The most useless medical aid scheme ever!!! Every time I submit a claim for reimbur*****t, I end up having to make numerous follow up calls. The latest is two claims submitted to them on the 7th October. I have now been told that one will be repaid to me on the 1st November (so long???) and the other one - oh, that one hasn't even been captured yet. It has literally been sitting in the claims department since 7th October and to date, nobody has done a damn thing with it. ***!!!!!! I am so tired of the inefficiency I have to experience daily.
The service I received from Elize, right from my first online enquiry up until delivery of my furniture was absolutely outstanding. She was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful.
