I ordered a number of items from Takealot and when I received the order one item, a TV box was missing as they decided to put a gold watch in its place. When I log on to a complaint, they send me various copy-and-paste responses, trying to make their incompetence my problem. The gold watch does not even appear in the list of the orders received (How do I log a return for a non-accounted-for item?). Now some ZINTLE M and SIBUSISO SIKHUNDLA are harassing me about how I should log on a returns call for the watch and when I ask about the TV box, which has been fully paid for they say I need to return the watch first
I took my car to Mercedes Benz: New Vaal Motors yesterday for service, and they started recommending replacements that were not necessary just so that they could milk my insurer. As if that was not enough, a Ruan Erasmus went behind my back soliciting my insurer to amend the authorisation so that he could claim more and told my insurer, without my permission, that I would pay the balance. Kudos to my insurer for copying me in their response, stating that they would not change the initial authorisation and cheekily reminding Ruan that I am insured so that I would not have to pay for service. Earlier on, my husband had told the dealer that in no terms would we be paying for extras, as they were unnecessary. Today (day 2), I fetched my car from "service". Interestingly, the extra fittings could not be made as they have run out of stock, so I need to return the car sometime. While complaining about their shenanigans and after introducing myself to Ruan as the lady who had sent him an email earlier, he shrugged me off and continued with his business - what a joke! This is pathetic for a Mercedes Benz dealership!
Vodacom installed fibre for me on 28 July, which is still working. On the 8th of August, after I posted my review on Hello Peter, they said one of their consultants would contact me, and I am still waiting. I work from home, and my son studies online, and we have spent a lot on data, thanks to Vodacom. I put my pride aside two days ago and called them once again and the circus continues. Everyone keeps on blaming someone - the biggest culprit being Nokia and some Nompumelelo Haga. The consultants keep telling me the same lies...apparently, Ms. Haga who has been assigned my case, and it is only her in the entire company who can attend to my matter. I asked them if they were sure she still works for the company, and they said she does... I continue to wait impatiently!
I had Vodacom Fibre installed on 28 July and it is still not activated. I have been calling and emailing Vodacom two to four times every day since the 30th of July and each consultant I speak with keeps on making false promises, about escalating the matter and calling me back; and worse blaming Nokia in the process. I regret terminating my services with Rain, the poor connectivity was better than the bad service and daily lies, sies Vodacom!
