I am extremely disappointed with this specific dealership. I have called the whole of last week to make a booking for my vw vehicle and the receptionist/switchboard has taken my messages. I have not received a single call back. I have called again today and the receptionist took a message again. The customer service is pathetic. Its so hard for someone to call back and basically do their job?! I am extremely frustrated. I have purchased airtime the whole week just to call them and still no response! Good day, I am a member of the Essential insurance and i have a membership certificate which states that I am an active member. However last week i have went to my dentist to book an appointment and when they called the medical insurance they advised that i am not an active member. I made numerous calls and spoke to a consult zandile who said the matter will be escalated and they will activate me. She advised me that she will call me back and till date i have not received a call. I called again today and spoke to a male who said that he will call me back after 10 to 15 minutes and still no call. I am very disappointed as i pay my medical insurance on time and i am going in circles for days trying to get Authorization. After I put my review about my African bank rewards, about 5 people contacted me from African bank at the same time on the 2nd of September 2022. I spoke to one consultant who was from the Social media Department, she went through my bank statement with me and I had to show her that I did make the necessary requirements to recieve my rewards. She apologised thereafter and advised that she escalated my query to the Rewards Department and that I would recieve my Rewards by the 10th of September 2022. Today is the 11th of September 2022 and its very disappointing to not get any source of feedback from African bank. They made a promise to give me my rewards and did not. Very very POOR POOR SERVICE DELIVERY. I THOUGHT AFRICAN BANK WOULD HELP ME BUT THEY ARE UNPROFFESSIONAL. I AM THINKING OF CHANGING BANKS BECAUSE THEY MAKE PROMISES THAT THEY CANNOT KEEP. I have been a client of African bank for more than 6 years , Every month I ensure that I meet the requirements to receive my African Bank rewards. Yesterday was the 1st of September and I did not receive my reward for the month of August regardless meeting the amount of deposits and swipes I needed to do for the month. I contacted African bank tlc and they advised me to contact African Bank because they are dealing with the rewards now. I was the call with an African Bank customer service agent for more than 20 minutes, She made me wait more on the call that help me. I had less airtime and asked her if she could call me back, however she said she cannot do so. I find this very unprofessional for a bank that cannot assist their clients. Some of us are poor and we make sure we do what is needed for us to get our rewards, but African bank still dissappoints us in which we need to call in and they still can't assist us as clients and just waste our airtime. I have been on the call for so long and yet my query was not sorted out. The agent just kept saying sir we understand your frustration but did nothing to help me get my reward even though i met my requirements. I am very disappointed and will be changing my bank soon. I have asked friends and families to join African bank because of the reward programme. Looks like i will be advising them to change banks as well due to this unprofessional service from this bank.
