on 4 April 2026 I bought 3 led eurolux round candles and upon opening it there was a battery missing with cover and none of the candles were working there was also a black rim on the bottom of the big candle which indicates that it was used. the box was broken, the styrofoam that the candles were in was broken and the cashier at the store did not check the product before i left the store. when my husband wanted to take it back on monday they refused to take it back. i have sent the images to game customer care and up until today no one has contacted me. The service received at the store on monday was putrid and unempathetic! The service overall is pathetic as one must wait in line for over 10 minutes to pay for stuff the cashiers have no urgency to make the lines go fast this is pathetic really!!!!!
The IUA is of no use to ackermans members who has funeral policies attached to their accounts their customer service and management are all ***********! I have filled in an insurance claim form of my departed family member who passed away in December who had an insurance attached to her policy they have not sorted out the claim after ive sent numerous proof of death and necessary docs they claim the policy lapsed in June which is a lie coz my family member made payment in November 2025. I need this matter sorted immediately its been 3 months since tje family member departed!
It is a grave concern that your store at Liberty Promenade Mitchells Plain can be so incompetent. I put my silver on loan at the store in November 2022, made a transaction directly to the store's banking account on 4 December 2022 and informed the store regarding payment. On Jan 04th made another payment to the stores account with my id as reference, however this time I tried informing them telephonically on their landline, but to no avail. When I got to the store yesterday to collect my goods, I was told it was sold, I asked if they don't check their account to see for payments made online and I was told they did me a favor accepting payments via the banking account as it is against company policy. I need to come to the store directly to inform them I've made payment. Can you imagine the frustration? The so-called manager then came to speak to me which I know she was not, as she was unprofessional and did not give me a chance to give my side of the story. She then told me they picked up a payment for 04 January 2023, however she doesn't know who's payment it was. Hello my id number was used as the heading. On top of that she had the gall to tell me that my conversation is recorded due to there being built in recorders in the Pc's. C'mon guys I work in a call centre industry to try and talk BS about live recordings. Her unprofessionalism does not earn her a seat to deal with clients face to face. When I asked them when my goods were sold they did not want to divulge the information. Which made me think that someone on their side of the fencemade a huge ****up and it's absolutely ridiculous! It goes against your entire business morale and trust me I will not take this likely! I cannot believe that this is the way a national company which specializes in loans against your valuables, has such little care for their clients personal belongings. I will make sure that this lack of care for my belongings are highlighted and reported to every authority so that people are aware that they might not get their stuff back from you guys! It's an absolute disgrace!!! The so called manager has non shallaunt attitude and she looked like they just woke up. Please investigate and I'd like a written apology from the pretend manageress for having no inter personal skills.
