I’ve been chasing my refund from this company for 6 weeks now. No response to 3 emails I sent. Initially they’d promised to revert back after investigating. However lately my enquiries are met with stone silence. They’re contact details are email: ashley@cooltech.co.za and telephone 010 555 0377
I took my wife’s phone to the Samsung store at the Mall of Africa, Midrand Johannesburg for repairs. It took 5 days just for them to provide a quote. During this time my appeals for the quote included physically popping in at the store. Even on that occasion I left the store empty handed. Upon obtaining the quote I paid for the repair upfront. They said it would take 5 days for the repair to be completed. On the 6th day I sent my son to fetch the phone. They wouldn’t give him because he had a copy of the slip and not the original. This morning he went back with the original slip and they told him the phone is not ready. The person I’m dealing with is Lebo. Needless to say the only thing for me to do now is to request a refund and the return of the phone. I should also mention that I had also complained to the Samsung Customer Service office to no avail
I bought an electricity voucher but my meter won’t accept the voucher. Prepaid24 is referring me to the Joburg municipality to attend to the query. This is ********* behaviour. I bought the voucher from them. They can’t now refer me to a third party when there are problems with the voucher. It is their responsibility to contact the municipality. This is how business works. If they can’t resolve queries then they must not sell the vouchers
I purchased electricity for a wrong meter number. Yes it was my mistake. Nigel at Prepaid24 says the transaction cannot be reversed. I said to him it’s simple logic that when their systems were designed, they should have made provision for a functionality that enables them to reverse transactions. This is not rocket science. It should be expected that customers will make such mistakes. I’ll never use them again
This company exists solely for the purpose of defrauding the public. My daughter has been scammed R18,000. She ordered an iPhone but never received the item nor was she refunded. I communicated with the company twice on iMessenger but thereafter they blocked me
