I have been trying to sort out my employees UIF for over a year now. She had to go on disability because she was diagnosed with a lung disease and has to be on oxygen for 20 hours a day for the rest of her life and now is unable to work. She has been religiously paying her UIF for over 16 years. We app**** for her UIF in august 2022. All documents have been submitted and there is nothing outstanding. She lives in a rural area and has no access to internet or knowledge on how to follow up with the UIF department. I have been trying to find out why the claim has not been paid yet on her behalf. Every time I call, they say they are escalating the claim and will call her. I have been following up for 6 months now on a weekly basis and all they can tell me is that the claim will be escalated and they cant tell me why it has not been paid as yet. The department that authorises payments do not have a contact centre so a person cannot ask them directly. When I call the UIF call centre they say a different department does the payments and there is no contact centre for them. All they can do for me is escalate the query. This has been ongoing for over a year now, and my employee still has not been paid. This is disgusting! How can this happen to people that really need this money. So disappointing!
Very disappointed in the hair iron I purchased from Mycro Keratin. The iron has burned my hair so badly that I had to have pieces of my hair cut out, it was so damaged. When I contacted them, all they can ask me for is my proof of warranty! So are they saying that you must spend all this money on a good quality hair iron and after a year you must buy a new one because they can't guarantee that your hair will burn?
Had a very bad experience with Elite mobile. They called me and said I was due for an upgrade on 01 Oct 2022. I believed the sales person and agreed to upgrade to a new contract. He said it would cost me R1700.00 per month including the handset and all I would be paying extra for was the insurance on the phone. When my bill arrived the following month, i was billed R2700.00 which is R1000.00 more per month. I must have called Elite mobile every day for a month to try and sort this out. They informed me that my recording will take 2 weeks to retrieve. Once this was listened to, they told me that they could not find anything wrong with the conversation and that nothing had been breached. I was so upset as I knew this was not the case, so I decided to write a review on hellopeter. Within a couple of minutes after writing the review, the manager from Elite mobile called me. I had been trying to get hold of her for 2 weeks leaving messages. Anyway when she called, she did confirm that there was a breach in the contract and that she has finally listened to the conversation between myself and the sales person and that she would cancel my contract with immediate effect. I must say I was very happy as I was not prepared to pay R2700.00 per month. It took over a month to sort this out. I sold my old phone before realizing what had happened and unfortunately because they collected my handset and had to as soon as possible to cancel the contract before I would have to pay another month I was without a phone for 3 days until such time I could lend another phone from someone. I bought a cover as well as a screensaver which cost me R1000.00 and now i have no use for it as the contract was cancelled and the phone collected. All I am saying is rather go directly through Vodacom which are very helpful and be very careful when going through companies contracted to Vodacom as they seem to only worry about how many people they can sign up and what commission they will be getting as apposed to looking out for the customer. I was so upset that I wanted to port my number over to another provider after being with vodacom for 22 years. But after speaking to vodacom directly, they have been so helpful in helping me sort everything out. It has taken a month, but i will be finally getting my new phone and contract.
ABSOLUTE scammers!!!!!! A guy by the name of Coelin called me and told me that I am due for an upgrade on my vodacom account. I asked him if this was an early upgrade and that I did not want to pay for two handsets. He told me that Vodacom was running a special for R1899.00 per month where i will get unlimited calls and 15GB of data per month. I am now being charged R2600.00!!!!!!!! I have to pay for two handsets, the package as well as they are now charging me for the iphone 13 seperately! This is NOT WHAT I AGREED TO!!!!! I called them to say that I wanted the recording of the conversation. It took 16 days to get feedback. I had to call them as no one contacted me about this. I have left messages for the manager Sekai to call me on 3 different occasions. And still the manger has not called me. When you phone and ask to speak to a manager, they always say the manager is unavailable. Now they tell me my call was compliant and if i wanted to hear the recording, i have to wait another 14 days!!!!!!!!!!! I am disgusted in this company and how they are robbing people! Don't EVER use them! Their service is absolutely shocking!!!!
