On 11 March 2024, I made an online purchase for a rug from Carpet City Factory Shop Cape Town. As I am based in Pretoria, an additional R500 delivery fee was added to the purchase amount. Proof of payment was sent the same day. On March 13, I requested an update on shipment and received confirmation on March 14th that the courier will collect soon. I only received the way bill number on March 15th. Finally the rug was delivered and when I opened the package on March 21st, I noticed the rug had been ripped/damaged. I immediately notified Carpet City and was told they will take it up with the courier company. On March 25th I had to call them again, as I haven’t received any response since March 21st. Again I was told that the courier should be held responsible. Eventually after continuous back and forth I was promised a replacement. This was on April 15th. It’s now June 2nd and I am still waiting for the replacement rug. I would definitely NOT recommend any one to make online purchases from Carpet City Factory Shop Cape Town.
I placed an order with Partszar on the 24th of March and received the goods on the 26th of March. I was really surprised with the fast delivery, as one of the items was on back order from China. Excellent service. Well done and thank you to the Team at Partszar.

When I called Momentum Insure yesterday morning, my call was transferred to Lutendo Mashele who personally assisted me with my claim. In less than 10 minutes my claim was logged and authorized. During the call I received updates on email and sms's confirming my claim number and authorization. Really awesome and excellent service. Thank you Momentum and Lutendo for your great support.
Based on stock availability, as per Leroy Merlin's website, I placed and payed for an online order on the 18th of October 2023. On the 19th of October 2023 I received an email from Leroy Merlin, not only confirming that my order was received, but also informing me that the item has been picked up by their delivery partner and that I can expect delivery within 3-5 working days. Today, the 27th of October 2023, a week later, I was informed by Leroy Merlin on email that Leroy Merlin does not have stock and are suggesting a refund. The last response begs the question: ''Which so called item was picked up by their delivery partner OR was it all just a lie?'' Very disappointed.
Excellent delivery service. I placed my order on a weekend and received delivery on Monday. The product was also securely packed to prevent any damage. Very happy with the service, will definitely order from them again.
